Yapp is very convenient, user-friendly and intuitive. It allowed our corporate event to feel more lively, had people interacting between themselves and promoted exactly the type of corporate culture that we like and encourage.
Nothing strikes as a major dislike for Yapp. Some of our "less-technology-enclined" team member had trouble finding it on the App Store/Google Play, but with appropriate guidance, it was fine.
Enhanced team spirit, increased participation, and great "new" tool for an event that was "hybrid" style, due to the current pandemic situation.
It is super easy to keep things organized.
Easy to input data on the backend.
Has a range of features that suits my needs.
Very affordable.
Has a resposive team.
There's nothing really I dislike about YAPP.
If you're looking for something to keep your event attendees well informed, YAPP is the one to go for. It is easy to implement your information, and the attendees would love the organization of information on this app and how easy it is to maneuver. I would highly recommend this for any small or large-scale events.
YAPP helps to keep our event sessions and speakers' information in a super organized and easy to view way. It is also effortless to put data in the back end. The page options it provides suit our needs perfectly. Our participants enjoyed that they can easily access the information they need through YAPP.
Yapp’s best feature is that it lets you download PowerPoint slides, and follow along live with presentations.
The interface can be unattractive. It is a turn-off for new users.
It makes notetaking/presentations SO MUCH easier. I don’t feel compelled to jot down every little thing I learn at a conference. It also gives you attendee contacts. Perfect for networking!
It was anything but difficult to begin. The accessible highlights made me consider the structure more than I initially arranged and the application turned out better for it. I preferred having the capacity to embed speaker profiles with all the contact data within reach, so participants could rapidly label speakers in their online networking posts.
Clients can transfer photographs to three distinct regions. I might most likely want to see this decreased to only one, which I surmise I can do basically by dispensing with some of them. For instance "Group photographs" doesn't permit subtitling, so it's not as mainstream. The social feed is unquestionably better for everybody that way. News source presumably ought to be confined on the grounds that I had a few people utilizing it like the social channel.
I looked at a couple of different applications before this one. None had all the element I needed, however Yapp had the greater part of the highlights at the best cost.
Having a very practical consistent application for your customers that is additionally incredibly simple for your staff to refresh is without inquiry the most advantageous angle!
We have used Yapp for several years now. As a small nonprofit that runs conferences with <300 attendees, we wanted something affordable that we could build and maintain ourselves, and we found exactly that with Yapp. It's very easy to go on the Yapp website, log in to my account, select the type of page I want to add the app and start uploading or pasting my content. Our conference attendees can then use the app to communicate with staff and other members and rate and comment on conference sessions. And we can post real-time alerts and updates.
There's not much that I don't like about Yapp. They have improved the UI and added a number of features like multi-track scheduling in recent years that translate to a better looking app on our end.
You can take the app for a test run by signing up for a trial account (14-day trial as of this writing). It takes no coding experience to build and manage the app.
We need an affordable event app that we could build in-house. Most of the event app builders on the market cost several thousand dollars to build and employ, but for less than $500 (as of this writing), you can build a fairly simple, good-looking app in Yapp. We event had conference attendees tell us that they started using app for their own events after using ours for the conferences.
This app is easy to use from the creator standpoint and the user standpoint. It is amazingly versatile!
I would love if app users could comment on pictures!
Contact them if you have any concerns. They have remarkable customer support!
Having a highly functional seamless app for your clients that is also exceptionally easy for your staff to update is without question the most beneficial aspect!
Yapp software is very easy to use, it has all the features needed to create an event application.
Honestly, there is nothing I disliked. All the required information to set up the application is readily available.
Look no further. Yapp has the most amazing Support Team, it will make your experience even easier.
I wanted an application to help me keep track of a 21 day event, that involves a lot of participation from involved people and Yapp offers just that and more. I was able to enter all the dates at once, with information for each day, support documentations for all participants, pictures, and they even offer a section, where people can share their thoughts and comments.
The fact that you can publish right away and make any changes on your own.
Not much to dislike about the app - it does everything i need it to do.
Connecting my attendees together via the chats & photo uploads; getting messages out to all attendees; keeping everyone looped in to any last minute changes.

Intuitive and easy
Flexible with a team who actually respond AND then take action
Lean, does exactly what is needed for an event and does not get bogged down in bloated features
Excellent integration between speakers and sessions
So much cheaper than developing an App
Dynamic updates
Nothing really, anything I have had an issue with, I would chat with the actual developers and then we would get it fixed.
I looked at something like 20 products like this and chose Yapp as it seemed to do what we needed. What I didnt realise was that I was buying into a product and company who actively serve our needs. It's astonishing how many times I have gone to them and the actualy developers have responded and solved issues. On more than one occasion, I suggested a new feature and within a week, that feature was there. This kind of interaction is unheard of in this digital age. No bots. Most of all, our delegates just love it as it's frictionless for them. Always works, always up to date. Been with Yapp for five years and would not run a large event without it. Key tool in my toolkit.
Our delegates at our main event needed an app. We would have a complex schedule with around ten events happening at any given time, then spread over three days. Hundreds of speakers. A thousand attendees. Yapp eliminated the need to a printed booklet, saving us money. And we could update at any given moment, share text message style updates. Most of all we heard nothing from the delegates. Yes our fans raved about the App, but for 90% of the delegates, it simply did exactly what they needed and that is amazing.
