Tried SmartyAds DSP to air campaigns for my clients in technology and education niches. Both campaigns were in-app - for the first one I used an interstitial banner and for the other one rewarded. Creatives were approved swiftly and the campaigns went overall very smoothly - I could adjust the right targeting, measure results (including user interaction with tags), and optimize when needed. In a nutshell, clients were happy as campaigns showed great KPI. Platform managers were also very helpful when I had questions. After giving it a test drive I can say that most certainly I will use this platform for the next campaigns.
Hmm, I feel like I need to work more with this platform to find out all ins and outs to say for sure. I think they could have added more interactive formats, those are increasingly popular for the in-app environment now. I’ll add a new testimonial as soon as I’m fully customized with their DSP.
The platform is effective and simple in use, those are important advantages that DSP can have. It also gives me a good chance to run and boost several campaigns at once for my clients. Targeting, formats, campaign set up, analytics, and communication with support - so far this platform satisfies all my needs. I hope in the future all goes just as well as it does now.
I have been working with this DSP since summer 2020 and by far I can say that my favorite part of it is that I have enough traffic across all verticals I need. Publishers are also of pretty good quality since all traffic is scanned - they have integration with anti-fraud providers and the sellers are authorized with adx.txt and other IAB standards. It is also very important for me that managers respond quickly, they are very helpful and will immediately give a hint whether something will work or not for my campaigns.
Could be very cool if they also supported A/B testing tools for creatives. They don’t have it but I see that new features are frequently being rolled out recently. I hope one day they also add this one.
SmartyAds DSP helps me to run ad campaigns effectively, I tune them up and the system does the rest, it automatically serves impressions on sites I need. So basically, I enter how I want the system to spend ad budget and what audiences I want to target, where I want to serve ads, and at what conditions. If I need any help I consult managers, that’s pretty much what I need as an advertiser.
I like the fact that I can run ad campaigns for all kinds of audience segments. Our brand targets younger audiences on mobile and CTV platforms while we also pursue a segment that traditionally prefers using PC. On SmartyAds DSP we target them both, we run several ad campaigns at once each of which is suited to the audiences in terms of ad format, channel, vertical and other criteria. They have a really broad reach with RTB so the traffic volumes are always great.
Haven’t figured it out yet, but probably they could offer more payment models apart from CPM.
First of all, with SmartyAds DSP we reach great publishers and automatically serve ads on their inventory. We suit each campaign to each audience segment so that ads find them on the mediums and channels they prefer (mobile, CTV, desktop, in-app). Plus we get traffic from relevant verticals so our campaigns are always effective.
I’d say the cozy dashboard and traffic across verticals and channels I need, that matters for me most. I’ve migrated to SmartyAds DSP from another solution and surprisingly didn’t lose anything in terms of functions. RTB connects to the top global publishers so now it substitutes several paid vendors at once. It has so many targeting options and traffic in various business niches, as well as easily digestible campaign analysis. Planning gets easy, management and analysis too.
I’t be great if I could run CPC campaigns aside from CPM. As far as I know they have it so far only for push campaigns.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This platform is definitely a good choice if you need good quality traffic in great volumes. The rest of it - managing campaigns, creatives, setting campaigns and generating performance reports - is straightforward and understandable here. Targeting criteria appears sufficient for my needs (they have 30+ options). To sum up, this one I’d recommend for sure.
It solves all my advertising needs and that’s pretty much it. They support all popular formats (IAB, pop up, native, display, video, CTV) and tags can be applied for better analysis (JS Tags, Iframe, HTML Tags, VAST, VPAID and MRAID). They have traffic in all verticals and channels: desktop, mobile web, in-app, and CTV. Dashboard is solid and clear which helps me to start, navigate, and analyze campaigns easily and quickly.
I was afraid to stop advertising for an unknown time period - the whole thing seemed just too uncertain, so I’ve decided to adjust my strategy instead of pausing it altogether. Luckily, this DSP is quite convenient for my purpose, as it supports the formats I’ve started using during the quarantine. My personal favorites are rewarded video and in-app ads as I’ve figured out my potential clients are now using mobile much more often. The platform allows me to design ads as I like it - found this feature very useful for native ad campaigns I launched last week. I can already see that some of these ads are performing even better than those from my previous campaigns, so I’m planning to stick to these formats during some time.
The whole situation with quarantine and covid-related changes is a challenge, honestly, I wasn’t sure I could make it through. However, now the situation has become slightly stabilized for me - customers started coming again and this helps me to stay afloat and hope this will continue.
