Nordigen/GoCardless provides a great Quickstart guide to their simple, yet powerful REST API for PSD2 AIS services.

This allowed me to easily integrate multiple bank accounts from different banks within hours.

The REST API sticks to common web development best practices, so it can be easily integrated in a wide variety of systems.

Also their support team managed a PSD2-connectivity issue, which was caused by my bank.

Did I mention its free for starters?

Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Even performance is great!

API is quite simple and well documented. Also the support team is always here to help.

There are no real problems. All the negotiations can be addressed only to banks or PSD2 requirements themselves, but Nordigen makes everything to minimize them.

This doesn't apply to Nordigen, because I understand that Nordigen also depends on 3rd parties who may fail to provide stable API solutions and in this case, Nordigen partners also struggle with that (for example Luminor AIS API).

Implenting their api was extremely easy. Questions on our part were answered quickly and accurately. And best of all, basic account information is free of charge.

Noridgen allows our clients (small business owners) to import their bank transactions into their administration, with no extra charge.

The support is very reactive and even pro(!)active. Development team follows up on open items even over a longer period of time. Excellent!

Security of API login procedure could be increased (it is principally nordigen_id / nordigen_key only). The "sign a token with a private key" method other competitors are using is way more secure and does not introduce much more complexity

Loading financial data from various bank accounts into Firefly III an open-source finance management solution. Using Nordigen I can fully automate the load process instead of downloading statements from the banks and then uploading again.
