I think nextech is highly efficient and allows my practice to provide excellent patient care!!

For our practice the lack of communication between icp and practice Plus can sometimes be an issue.

Efficient excellent patient care

Staff is helpful - easy to reach through portal. Easy to maneuver in the system.

Reports could be a bit more flexible with a few more options.

I don't know of anything at this time that is a problem we have that anyone is working on.

The system is very user-friendly. Support is available for any need, and they quickly respond and fix any problems.

I don't think we have any downsides to the system. It is compatible with our billing EMR.

We do not have any business problems

The drag-and-drop features are one of my favorite things about Nextech. It makes it so easy to reschedule patients and adjust appointment times. It also makes applying for payments so much faster and easier.

Importing ERA files into Nextech for processing could be smoother. It feels old-fashioned and cumbersome in comparison to the rest of the software. If this feature was more modern and automated, it would make Nextech perfect.

One problem that our office faced was paper receipts for patients when they made payments. Our patients have been requesting emailed receipts. Nextech has added this as a new feature. Our office is very excited to get to start using this feature!

We like the ability to create and change our templates, the ease of scanning in to our patient charts and the flexibility of the system. We LOVE the support.

We would prefer if our patients could sign permits directly into the EMR on an Ipad.

Nextech is staying up with the governmental requirements which is extremely important.

It is very easy to navigate for all levels of computer users, very ophthalmic friendly, love that I can speak with support within 5 mins of a call. Our older system, SRS, was not very well supported and not very friendly

The billing department is terrible. We have been mischarged and incorrectly charged, and one incorrect charge of almost $10,000 took 6 months to be credited and get straightened out

MIPS documentation! What a benefit!

EMR interface is efficient, especially going from visit to visit

Letters need more options for formatting, such as each bubble in assessment should be a separate paragraph rather than a blob of text.

Ensuring that we will be ready for the future, such as with mips and interoperability.

ICP is accurate, direct and a time saving powerhouse. The Knowledge Base can be customized to your preferred phrases and eliminates redundancy.

There is an initial amount of effort to input your custom preferences, but this "Front end loading" of data is well worth it. Charting, letters, coding are all streamlined.

There generally are not any issues that cannot be overcome quickly. the support team is fabulous.

Nextech allows all clinical staff in the practice to access the electronic health record. The system has well thought out features and is constantly making updates for ease of use.

Some features within the EMR do not reflect on the patient portal feature. Requests are made to the software developers to consider our practice needs in future updates.

Quick chart access for all staff members via iPad, desktop or laptop depending on office location all staff members can use the software.

Benefits are new telehealth features which have helped patient care continue throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Nextech EMR Apple Platform is very user friendly, makes the EMR simple to use and even simplier to navigate.

Wish the Nextech Apple platform allowed for PracYakker like the desktop version does.
