I can't think of a sincere dislike, but I feel that the price is high for the extra services/pro services. To some - I bet its worth it.

I need to know DNS/TXT/CNAMES/NameServers in an instant - I want to know who is reporting what and mxtoolbox helps get me the right info quickly.

The platform is really advanced. the most basic features, gives you the most bullet proof application. They have an easy to use wizzard when setting up and domains within the platform. They have walkthroughs and information about all aspects of the platform including setup, errors and best practice guides. The tool is great at monitoring domain authenticity and ensuring the domain stays strong with early black list monitoring and alerting.

The package tiering is a bit hard for us to jump from the 5 domain package to the next one at the price offered. The platform as a whole seems to be a little slow when navigating around the interface.

When stuck, their are tool tips which should be used to help you fix the issue. if it is unrelated, a quick search using the help of their guides will lead you in the right direction. If you have more than 5 domains in which you need to get control over, you are able to setup a domain and use their wizard to guide you, and then later remove it from the dashboard (only applies to non-selfhosted records) and the domain will maintain its setup. It would just assist in tight budgeted teams getting better deliverability with multiple domains and not having to pay for the next package which is a large monthly fee jump

We are fixing our email deliverability issue. We realised that our outbound emails were consistantly landing in SPAM filters. Through the use of the tools diagnostics features, and the ability to self host Auth records made the nightmare of undelivered emails go away. We are able to, withing a short space of time, get out domain health up to a point where we were no longer restricted when contacting new prospects, customers, or stakeholders

This site has the best tools for IT admins. They make my life easier daily. I use their tools all the time. I setup a log of mail server for clients and mxtoolbox is my go to for testing and problem solving.

I dont think there is anything on the site that I dislike.

When setting up or troubleshooting a mail server mxtoolbox offers all the tools you need to test the system.

Blacklists, SMTP test, record lookup. MX toolbox is a needed companion to mail servers.

My favorite part of using MXToolbox is our ability to check in on MX Records and A Records after we make changes to the DNS of a website we are launching. It allows us to make sure that we have pointed everything over exactly as we should.

I wish that there was a tool to easily look at past DNS Zone History easily and that does not seem to be there.

Give it a try for when yo are trying to look up MX Records or DNS info on a domain name.

I use MXToolbox any time I want to look up MX records for a domain, check Blacklist status for a domain or mail server, and to perform other general public DNS information gathering.

Honestly, I have not found one thing I dislike about MXToolbox.

I love the blacklist monitor. It helps us make sure our emails were going out and notified when they may not. Can't tell you how many times it helped us be proactive on email issues.

I've been using MXToolbox for about three years, and they have a great suite of products. They send out a daily email alert from their monitoring system for their "Adpative Blacklist" which is super helpful. The issue is that the email says "Currently Listed" in the body of the email in big bold letters. It then says "There are no blacklisted ips for the selected period" if you are not listed. The email gives me heart palpatations when I see it each day. I iwsh that it would just say "Not Listed" or something like that.

MXToolbox's suite of monitoring services makes it easier for our team to concentrate on what they do best and not worry about monitoring. Before using MXToolbox, we had our own in-house tools that we were constantly tweaking, updating, and trying to keep up with. MxToolbox gave us a better solution with many more features, some of which we didn't even know we needed. Their monitoring system alerts us of any issues that may arise with our deliverability in some cases early enough that we can react without having a catastrophic issue.

Very much lightweight, DNS, MX or Whois lookup tool in one place, no need to reload or visit other pages.

Easy to identify blacklists for domains and ip addresses.

Although, SMTP diagnostics, Domain Health, IP address checker, Password Generator, Ping and Monitoring services available within one place.

More then 39 diagnostics/ DNS Management/ SMTP or Blacklist checking tools available for use. That's why i don't have to look for another tools to use for network and domain managements.

Free features has limitations. 1 monitoring for one account for free accounts. that's why needed separate accounts for several domains. Maybe that would be great if increase the account limits.

If you are looking for one tool that could handle several Network monitoring and Domain / DNS or other checking features, you could try the MXToolbox. They have most of the monitoring and tracing products that will help you to identify your DNS related issues very well.
