"Amazing. Simply amazing!"
What do you like best about Lyssna?

Lyssna (formerly UsabilityHub) is the BEST place for quick, reliable user tests! Rather than spending a fortune in time and money to conduct user research (that we'd never get the boss to agree to), we can run fast user tests and get damn-near instant results to help with our important design decisions. It's truly revolutionary, and has already won over even the most sceptical designers! We use it all the time :)

What do you dislike about Lyssna?

Honestly, I can't answer this question because Lyssna has been so well developed and carefully thought out, that finding something to dislike is very very hard.

What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?

We needed a way to quickly prove our design theories and simultaneously prove the value of research to the boss. Lyssna does both incredibly well!

"A world of UX research possibilities"
What do you like best about Lyssna?

As a UX researcher of 10 years, I use Lyssna for a majority of my testing... which is all the time. It has all of the necessary tests and it's easy to to set up in no time. The ability to easily define your audience just makes a great difference in my role. They also have a great library of articles with tips and tricks. I have bookmarked several.

What do you dislike about Lyssna?

I wish there was an easier way to compare longitudinal studies that include several tests over time.

What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?

Everything from which design to implement to developing personas, user journeys and testing prototypes.

"Great tool for getting quick and scrappy feedback -- perfect for startups!"
What do you like best about Lyssna?

The tool is great for self-service research. The tests are really simple to set up and I love being able to quickly pool proxy customers. Customer support has been really helpful when needed as well.

What do you dislike about Lyssna?

I wish that I could test live sites (ie send customers to a competitor site or to my current site which they can compare to a prototype. I also wish I was able to add in screener questions. The demographics aren't enough to drill close enough to my customer.

What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?

Lyssna has helped me to quickly answer questions on how our customer or proxy customer may react to ideas. It has helped us make decisions and feel confident in what we're releasing.

"Quick, high-quality responses"
What do you like best about Lyssna?

UsabilityHub is incredible in providing quick directional feedback related to product, marketing, and branding. I have been a user of this service since my first startup venture in 2015, and it continues to be an invaluable resource for almost every project. I rely on it whenever I have questions or need guidance, and its speed and reliability have consistently impressed me throughout the years. It's really easy to start up a new test and the types of tests available are all I have really needed in a platform like this one.

What do you dislike about Lyssna?

I quite liked it when they had a way to earn credits by answering surveys and learning from others on how to structure surveys. It was pretty helpful for me to get into that respondent mindset so I could make my surveys better--more objective and concise.

What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?

Allows me to understand users' perspectives so that I can build better products.

"Getting Usability Feedback, Fast"
What do you like best about Lyssna?

UsabilityHub is a very easy to use platform with a ton of different usability test type options. The annual platform cost is low and depending on the type of feedback you want, you can use your own lists at zero additonal costs, or the UsabilityHub audience for a very fair cost per response. The results also come in incredibly fast.

What do you dislike about Lyssna?

There isn't a single thing I dislike about the tool. I consider it one of my critical must-have tools.

What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?

UsabilityHub let's us get feedback on a variety of projects quickly. Anything from simple brand designs, to complex IA and UX flows.

"My go-to user research platform"
What do you like best about Lyssna?

I like the variety of tests, the segmentation of the audiences and the speed of the results.

What do you dislike about Lyssna?

I don't dislike anything, but...I wish they would incorporate moderated and non moderated sessions as well.

What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?

Right now we are redesigning our mobile app. We are in the process of getting baseline results to measure if our new designs are more user friendly than the existing app.

Using the Navigation feature lets us see where people are having trouble.

"It's not just likely that I would recommend UsabilityHub. I recommend it all the time."
What do you like best about Lyssna?

UsabilityHub is great for facilitating quick and straightforward user testing, surveys and the likes. I find it really easy to analyse the insights that come out of the tests, and the quick turnaround makes it even more valuable.

What do you dislike about Lyssna?

I have a sceptisism about the demographic targeting. I have doubts that eg. doctors/surgeons are completing tests for 20 cents. The overview of tests could also use some work, as it is a bit messy for teams.

What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?

UsabilityHub's features save you time, improve decision-making, and speed up the process of making design choices. The pricepoint also allows you to cheaply test assumptions from multiple angles.

"Indispensable UX product"
What do you like best about Lyssna?

Flexible and easy to set-up tests, great report and feedback filtering, a wonderful user interface and generally cost-effective. The breadth of available test options makes it easy to keep multiple test types in a single platform, and the user panels provide great feedback consistently.

What do you dislike about Lyssna?

Sometimes it's a little difficult to gauge how many credits will be needed for each test, which makes OOP costs at an agency a bit less transparent than we'd like to see. But it's a small gripe :)

What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?

On-demand user feedback about visual design, copy, user experience flows and prototyped functionality. We can create and execute these with little lead time and get responses back same day. Super useful.

"Quick and easy way to incorporate user feedback"
What do you like best about Lyssna?

When I want to get user feedback in a tight timeline, UsabilityHub is a fast and convenient way to get answers. I love that I can pay a la carte for precisely what I need without an expensive subscription for features I'm not going to use. If I have a question, I can get answers within the hour using UsabilityHub's participant panel. It allows me to incorporate research while also moving quickly.

What do you dislike about Lyssna?

I wish that UsabilityHub could address more unmoderated testing needs. At the moment, it is not possible to incorporate think-aloud or exploratory unmoderated testing (e.g., with URLs), so I use other tools. There is also no way to invite specific participants to follow-up research based on their prior answers or flag participants who should not be invited back based on their responses.

What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?

Fast and light-touch unmoderated user testing
