KrakenD is a high-performance open-source API gateway that provides a single interface. Its stateless design provides genuine linear scalability. Also, it is a single API that reduces the fuss of dealing with different microservices. By merging microservices, it delivers a better user response and improves response time. Also, developers can save time as multiple calls can be combined into one, responses can be shrunk, and data can be transformed and transported securely. The most potent capability that stands out is its ability to automatically merge data defined by users in every endpoint as necessary. How the data is merged can also be controlled by the user. Additionally, one does not have to know coding to use the software. All data transformations, merging, picking, and definitions are declared in one configuration file. So, the API gateway behavior can be edited either manually or by utilizing KrakenDesigner.
