The Flexibility and frequency of good updates. The developer releases new features every 2 months or so, sometimes even faster.

What do you dislike about invoice ninja?

The GUI could be a little bit more modern. It is very intuitive however it could look better.

What problems is invoice ninja solving and how is that benefiting you?

Managing my invoices and to bill hours. Recently they added a proposal system that we are also trying to take advantage of.

Affordable open-source tool for handling quotes and invoices

PROS: No invoicing solution has fit my business demands like how Invoice Ninja do. Yes, the free and commercial variations were insufficient, but the open-source version is terrific! I used the C-Panel to set it up in shared hosting, and it is convenient to use and personalize according to my needs. This small tool handles invoicing, quotations, project tracking, inventory and payment among other tasks without problems. It incorporates smoothly with Zapier too, which is great for boosting many of our business tasks.

PROS: It has a very smooth UI that hasn’t give me any difficulties. It has greatly improved my workflow as well, which helps me save time managing invoices. It makes preparing invoices easier, since you can easily make, edit and send them. Managing payments and receipts is easier too.

You have to pay an annual licence to make it white label

with invoice ninja, i can track expenses, track time invoice and bill my clients. The main benefit is that unlike other similar solutions there is no limit on the number of clients you can have. The open-source /self hosted version is totally free.

Neat, cheap and super easy to control

PROS: Starting with the software is hassle-free, since it is easy to install and it lets me begin in no time. It has dozens of useful options for a myriad of different tasks too. I don’t use much of those, but I’m sure they’d largely help me later on. Its price is also unbelievably affordable.
