Process automation and application development
This solution is engineered to make the entire process for designing a system that streamlines workflow processes straightforward for most users. It is very user-friendly.
It integrates and works fantastic with other business software and plugins; project creation and the automation of business processes have been made easier and more convenient.
Processes can get stuck sometimes, and the migration of services may take longer than usual.
Also, it's not the easiest software to use and manage; a lot of time and resources are put into the learning and training process.
We are using this solution to streamline the business processes in our enterprise. Building process workflow benefits improving productivity, improving business functions, and adding a lot of value for any business or enterprise.
IBM Business Process Manager has many OOTB tools and components in its palate which cover most of the business needs. Besides that, it does allow us to customize existing components or create new custom components that can be very easily integrated and reused as a library.
Writing BPEL services does require a lot of effort, whereas BPMN is very easy and faster.
I would recommend IBM BPM over other couples of products available in the market. It's a mature product and enterprise-ready. IBM does provide easy and flexible licensing, so like if you buy IBM Software/Cloud Pak for Automation, it entitles you to use IBM Business Process Manager (BPM), Operational Decision Manager (ODM), IBM Digital Worker (smaller version of Robotic Process Automation/RPA), Business Automation Insights (BAI) for reporting and monitoring, Content Analyzer, Workstreams, etc. It also enables customers to deploy the applications in the cloud, physical servers, or VMs.
Automation of business flows is very easy, and the product does come up with almost everything business needs. Besides that, the end-user and administration consoles help in managing the product very easily. It's OOTB REST APIs library has helped us a lot in designing headless solutions which some of our use-cases require, and also the build automation has been done using those REST APIs.

4.Ui level execution is somewhat slow of loopings are there.
1.Design the Process Models.
2.It is easy to do projects in it just by dragging and dropping and by writing the code.
3.Every control implementation Predefined methods ,Predefined services are available ,so it makes less time to develop the project.

1.For Single select,Multi Select,Radio button Group,Checkbox group In the static list if we give name and value ,it shows value as name and name as value.
2.For two Single selects if we bind same variable list to item input data,While runtime if one drop down value gets changed another one also gets changed.
3. we can't debug the process like we debug the services, cshs.
4.try catch keywords do not catch all the errors properly.
5.We can't use localization resources in process level.
6.In coaches if we add more coachviews it becomes slow while developing UI.
7.Unnamed snapshots create slowness.
I would Recommend IBM Business process manager is best to develop business models.
1.It is easy to develop the Business models.
2.It is easy to find out the errors by debugging it.
3.Excellent Exception Handling Techniques.
4.Documentation For IBM Business process Manager is also Available,For UI Sailent Process is available.
5.We can Monitor the flow of Each and Every Activity in Process Inspector So that if any error comes we can get to know where the error has been occured or the data got changed.
The toolkit feature is the one I like the most, it offers code and services resuability and also maintains proper structure to keep database services in one toolkit and other services in other. Also you can make UI within minutes by just dragging and dropping the components. Added advantage is custom html code to design your UI. It saves a lot of time creating a process.. There are so many components bar chart, text ahead, buttons, etc which helps in making the UI within so less time. The DB services, Wait Events, UCA, exception handling are so useful for proper flow..
The error received when a service fails can be more descriptive.. And in detail so that time needed to resolve an error is reduced..
Overall the product is best for development and time saving..
Student management system which had two different process for student and professor.. It was so easy to implement and time saving with minimal efforts to design a beautiful UI. Overall experience was best and time saving
I like the easy integration of software and how easy it is to work, even if you are not good with technology. A nice and professional-looking interface as well, easy to navigate and find what is needed.
I don’t like that it becomes difficult at times to reopen previous works. I dislike the interface, it is kind of bulky and hard to navigate. I do enjoy the actual survey format themselves, they’re very nice.
If they fix integration with outside programs, sometimes it is difficult to complete tasks, the program will be 100%. Super easy to use if you are not familiar with this type of web manager and the navigation is understandable as well. Limited crashes and very affordable, especially for college students.
I enjoy how easy it is to multitask with different projects and outside works. I have not had many issues with the software itself, it is in need of an update soon though. The program is sometimes slow and lags but the actual interface itself is very beneficial.

Process data management is good, but it is not directly linked to business data. It could improve the management of process data along with business data, without the need for other IBM tools or taking the data to external tools.
BAW brings monitoring and control to automated processes. As a benefit we have the ease of development and maintenance of processes, helping to respond quickly to demands.
