HireVue was so easy to implement and immediately simplified the entire interview process for us. The amount of time saved in scheduling phone screens back and forth as well as doing the interviews themselves has been amazing. The candidate can answer at a good time for them and we made an immediate hire upon implementing.

The implementation team is amazing and tell you exactly what you need to do. You can implement as quickly or slowly as you need around your workload. It helps to have your logos, brand videos, hex colors and other branding together to speed up the process.

You'll want to really tailor your interview questions to exactly what type of answers you want and try to give unlimited attempts to re-record. A lot of times, people are a bit shy about recording themselves, so we try to make it comfortable with our candidates and giving them unlimited time to record themselves. We also let them know that we are the only ones reviewing their interviews as well.
The most significant benefit is that they're not always live, and you can re-record yourself if you don't like the answers. Hiring managers are requesting that interviews be conducted using Modern Hire because they can review the video rather than bringing the talent to the office for an interview.

I love the flexibility with the Modern Hire process and the ability to review and redo your interview. Our candidates think it is a simpler and less stressful option to interviewing in person or on Zoom/Teams
nothing really. Just some candidates seem to get confused but just don't follow directions. Some candidates tell me they feel that it is awkward just viewing themselves on the screen. But I reassure them that is is a much easier way to tinerview than with the manager on the other side of the screen. Not sure how to improve the process or the awkwardness the candidates feel.
