I want to share my experience. I am a CTO at FinX. Before the war started, we used a chat room of a well-known brand that was created and administered on the aggressor's hosts (in russia). Our company is principled and we were looking for alternatives. Friends advised us to use Helpcrunch from their own experience. I like Helpcrunch's functionality (it has basically everything you need to organize chats with customers), and we integrated Helpcrunch with AI and all internal systems. At the beginning of use, the application did not work stably. Lacks original sound for new message notifications. The app cannot edit the message after it has been sent.
Communication with customers, answering their questions, advising on products and store operation. We do not lose messages during off-hours. We clearly see the statistics and the quality of the work of operators.
When choosing a chat software that would fit our use case, we throughly tested about 10 different providers. Helpcrunch had the best widget customization options with the most reasonable pricing. Their own support is very reactive, helpful and understanding.
Maybe even a bit too many features which we do not use and are bloating the internal UI.

I would enjoy if the formatting of popups was better. Using custom css is an option, however, it would be more user-friendly for everyone if it was improved.
