Super simple interface. Requires no technical ability, which is great to put the power in the hands of the business units, rather than relying on IT.
Quite tricky to integrate with other tools. That requires a bit more technical knowledge.
Great for process mapping and workflows.
It saves time across the team.
Flowingly drives all persons involved in a process to 'understand' the importance of completing their part in a timely and accurate manner. Additionally, people only get a flowingly task when all details are in place for the next step to be completed - no chasing people to do their job.
Nothing - the consensus across the organization is 'wow, this makes life so much easier and more efficient
Time-critical document processes.
Processes that require attention to detail and evidence to support decisions.
Flowingly has made our work lives easier. Flowingly allows for easy tracking of our workload, guarantees nothing gets misplaced or overlooked, is easy to learn how to use and it's proving to be more efficient than the processes we were using before.
The main thing I dislike is that for Flowingly to work best, you need everyone to have a license. Being a Council, I'd prefer to use "public forms". While public forms are available through Flowingly there are significant limitations on public forms that you don't run into with forms between licensed people. I am currently using one public form. I understand there will be enhancements in future upgrades that will make those forms more versatile.
Flowingly has made going paperless easier. We tried to do it using just emails and found that emails were often getting lost or accidentally deleted because of the large volume of emails in the mailboxes of the approvers. There is no chance of that happening with the work living in Flowingly now. Workflows can't get accidentally deleted from Flowingly and we have set automatic reminders so that even if someone has forgotten to do step, Flowingly will send a reminder. An unexpected benefit is that because it's so easy to use, the approvers are doing the approvals immediately instead of saving them up to do later.
We have also started storing all relevant documentation to the Flow only in Flowingly. Before Flowingly, we stored all documents in SharePoint. However, we found we were running out of space as our Sharepoint libraries are limited to 5,000 records. We are noting the Flow numbers in our other IT system as a reference and we make sure to put the account number as part of the Flow for future reference.
I have also structured our work Flows to show the procedure for doing the process. Looking at the Flow Map for any Work Flow allows for a quick overview of the process. Going into each step provides additional information. We have inserted instructional videos of no more than 5 minutes into some of the steps to provide additional support.
The flexibility of the features available will help mitigate most of our process gaps.
With flexibility comes a bit of complexity - however, we would expect this to be reduced over time with more training.
Capex workflow, with the objective to roll out other workflow procedures for customer pricing, NPDs, etc.
Flowingly is a tool that is very easy to learn but allows you to create complex processes and reduce business risks whilst creating deep process analysis. The Flowingly Team is very supportive and has provided training to admins and workflow users that was professional and informative and are very engaged post-release which is a pleasant interaction!
No dislikes. There are items that are to be future developed around timing tasks but definitely not a dislike.
Flowingly helps with process mapping and task tracking. Allows for us to see business decisions and any roadblocks in making decisions. All users can easily see where their workflow is up to and self-serve status information, reducing unnecessary manual tasks for other teams.
Flowingly helps organise your business. When our work flow is smooth, everything else runs better around it.
You can use the system for process and procedures as well as complete flow diagrams in the system to better illustrate procedures.
Building workflows and forms is simple - and if you;re doing somehting more comples, there's great support to help you out.
All feedback is welcomed, and client feedback leads to chanegs and improvements - so it feels like Flowingly is growing with your business needs.
Everywhere I look in our business I see something that can go in Flowingly - so initially, it feels like I'm creating more work for myself.
At first, I thought I didn't have time to build the work flows or use the system. i learned that fostering engagement and some staff training is important . And the Flowingly team help you out with it, they are alwauys asking how they can help improve yoru experience,
Consider the support that is provided by the Flowingly team - it's invaulable
Using Flowingly is freeing up email space and action items are no longer getting lost in email graveyards.
Unactioned items are easier to keep track of. And Flowingly reminders mean that Managers aren't having to chase people up - Flowingly is doing it for us.
We also track compliance using Flowingly. With every system upgrade, we also add something new into Flowingly.
Always available and understanding support
Most of the problems that I had have been eventually fixed
Reporting and following up the tasks really easy
One of the best features is the ability to quickly document our processes. Staff with very little experience can quickly pick up how to use Flowingly. It has saved us quite a lot of time when implementing the tool. Our staff were very surprised at how easy it was to use Flowingly.
The visual elements of the Flowingly processes are very basic and could be improved to give users better user experience, e.g. the task boxes could have the feature to upload images to provide better visual cues.
Make sure that you have good support for implementing Single Sign On and your IT Department understands how to set up your company Active Directory. That way staff don't have to create separate accounts and can login with their work email address. Also, establish the administration roles in advance. Managing permissions and roles in Flowingly is very important when granting user access.
Understanding of our processes and bringing consistency to how work is done is one of our biggest benefits . We are also actively exploring the Flowingly automation features to reduce the effort required for completing tasks.
The fact we are now able to get our staff to adhere to a process and procedure and not rely on them remembering the process.
Created a training document that we can train new staff with, and they get prompted when using the flow as to what to do next in processes.
The product does what it claims to and pretty well, easy GUI, a few areas that still require tweaking
Databases needs further refining and the ability to write data and then extract it at later dates or in later flows would be very beneficial.
The decision making function is not as functional as I would like to see.
I love the product and would like to look into becoming a Flowingly consultant, great product, simple to use and with great quantifiable outcomes for the business.
Standardising processes. All staff are now using it ensuring adherence to our processes within the company.
Able to tackle high risk areas of the business ensuring staff preforming those tasks follow a set out path and reach the correct outcome

The tool is simple and effective. It is user-friendly, easy to use and has been an immense help in enhancing efficiencies across the business. Our stakeholders are happy and people are held accountable for their actions.
The challenging thing about the tool is the exporting of data as there is limited flexibility.
Document approvals and processing.
