I am using Codecov in my current job role, as I have developed test suite, I am using to generate report of code coverage. I like the ease of useability of the product. I am integrating it with my development environment, & parallely checking code coverage. I am using since last one year, on daily basis I am interacted with product. I like the report generation, as per our need we can generate report as a output of development. I can easily implement it & that's why I am using it in my work. I needed customer support for few reasons, I went to the official website & I am totally sastisfied with the customer support.
I am still using it in my work, thanks to Codecov team for a good product.
I am looking forward to I can get more features in report generation. I know my review will be considered as feedback & I will get that feature in upcoming releases.
I was approaching the release of my developed product & before some months of release, customer wanted to receive some reports regarding code coverage of my test suite. I used Codecov to check code coverage & also generated well structured code coverage report.
Thanks to Codecov, I was able to complete my target & customer also satisfied with the report.
What I like most about this tool is its ability to visualize code status and its smooth integration with Github.
The tool is quite not developed for everyone. It makes more sense to use this tool if the code base is huge.
We use this tool to make sure that the code is not redundant.
I like that it integrates easily with GitHub.
There have been some security issues lately, BUT they addressed them well, so no true complaints.
I use Codecov to visualize test health. The benefit is that it is rapid/more efficient than having GUI.
Easy integration, a lot of integrations ready with a few clicks
GitHub OAuth Integration could be requesting too much permission delegations
It helps our code reviewer view the insights of our every code change in one place
Visualizations of code status are informative and cool. Integration with GitHub CI is great.
For my small group, the visualizations seem like extra fluff that just isn't necessary. Not a complaint, just recognizing that this tool may not be right for everyone. Still cool!
Visualizing breaking points in my code repo.
Polished UI, easy to see weak areas of coverage and the health of our repos.
Needs better integration with GitHub - sometimes it doesn't want to load or show current coverage.
CodeCov is one of the easiest ways to boost confidence in your codebase and ensure that others can trust your code too.
We want to ensure that as much of our code is covered by meaningful unit tests as possible, which gives us the confidence to ship our code to customers.
Helps us find bugs and null pointer exceptions easily
Wonderful UI
Honestly no USP for the money we pay out of our pockets
I am unsure about the scope of the product
We usually need a tool to find out bugs when we manually test software. Codecov helps
us identify mistakes in the program by prompting errors on the screen. They highlight it more attractively compared to old school tools and using it on the terminal/IDE.

Easy to use. Easy to upload coverage by CI. Great interactive visualization for viewing coverage of all parts of your code.
I can't think of anything. Everything really works great!
It helps us analyze our code to see what is being tested well, and what is not being tested.
