The fact that it's free for Open Source is absolutely awesome :)
It is super simple to set up and give great actionable steps to improve the code. I found the documentation very well detailed and super useful. I use it for every project I start and would imagine going without it :)
Give it a try and see for yourself :p
A very happy customer !
Well Basically nothing I think it's great! Plus It's free for open source so it's a no brainer!
This is the best Code analysis platform I've found online :)
This is super handy to keep quality software.
This is like having a code buddy that never sleeps and helps you write the cleanest possible code !
I find Codebeat super useful for the open source projects I'm working on, it makes sure code pushed is good and suggests fixes when it's not, what else would I nee?/
It adds quality to my code by enhancing the experience of using the go tooling.
Its a bit expensive for small companies like us.
It gives visibility to code quality issues introduced between pull-requests.
Easy to use.
Practical reports.
Good product in general.
Need more checks for code quality.
Some code quality metrics, particularly for Go (Golang), should be adjusted.
Codebeat allows you to be sure that code quality doesn't go down below a certain level.
I really appreciate CodeBeat flexibility and support - they never disappointed us.
I can't tell anything - everything looks good for me.
CodeBeat helps us providing better quality in our software - this is a must have solution for every web software-related company.
Integration with Github is really simple and reliable - no issues with it.
The code quality measurements should be adjusted for some languages, like Objective-C, but for other ones they're close perfect (Swift).
This tool is also great to know whether your code getting better or worse - the actual metric (grade) doesn't say much - you can adjust your codebeat settings to get better grades if project style requires it, but the direction in which your codebase quality is going is a very important and useful information.
Reliability of Objective-C quality measurements is not perfect - it should be definitely adjusted.
The biggest benefit is that project's code quality can be easily presented to the clients and nontechnical people. It's also a very nice way for those people to track quality changes, so they can react or just simply ask why rating changed in certain way.

- Very easy to setup, they have a great step-by-step walkthrough on how to integrate our Bitbucket projects into their code analysis tool, the results were already visible after 5 minutes of setting up the projects.
- Simple GPA system to also show technical and non-technical personnel that the developers are producing not only accurate output, but also quality code-- enough to give them confidence to them team and also probably be a mode of due diligence for a sale or promotion :).
- Customizable, code analysis rules can be more flexible or rigid depending on the company requirement.
- Lack of a mobile app maybe, although it's not really important.
- Hoping that there can be JIRA integration in the future.
Highly recommended for startups and managers who wants a know-how of the current status of his/her Dev Team's code status without the technical mumbo-jumbo.
Code analysis and review is an integral part of any DevOps and hiring additional personnel can be superseded by tools driven by known standards such as this.
Days after using the tool, we realized some of the code standards/rules that we can compromise at the meantime and as well as knowing the current situation of our software code with just a few clicks.
