Our experience with Building Engines has been nothing short of exceptional. As a property management company, we were searching for a comprehensive solution that could streamline our operations and improve tenant satisfaction. Building Engines delivered on all fronts.
Integration Challenges: Integrating Building Engines with our existing software and systems presented some challenges. While the platform offers integrations, we hope for smoother and more seamless connections with popular third-party applications.
User-Friendly Interface: Right from the start, we were impressed by the user-friendly interface. It was easy to onboard our team and get them up to speed quickly. The intuitive design allowed for a seamless transition to digital property management.
The ease of work ordertracking. The value that comes from the tenant/PM team inputting and receiving information and requests in real time is necessary for smooth building operations.
It is dated and I am excited to eventuallly migrate to the prism system. The interface is too bland and using all the features is not super easy.
Managment and tracking tenant requests, PM schedule, COI compliance review, and the communication both within the team and with tenants is useful. When a property is not using BE, handling tenant requests becomes exponencially more difficult.
It's ability of having comprehensive features, it being user friendly, the ability to track maintainance requests and customisation.
It is a bit costly, the integration challenges, scalability and data security
Building engines is helping in data and reporting, it is helping with work flow efficiency, immense increase in productivity, huge expansion in business performance
The most helpful about building engines is it convenient and user friendly
The least helpful about building engines is nothing
Property management concerns
Building Engines does all of takes the worry out of our day to day operations
The report system isn't very user friend or able to extract just what we need
Scheduling PM. Ensuring our team is reminded until work is complete
Helps us track our SLA's and provides the necessary reports to show production levels.
The transition from classic to Prism has not been the smoothest.
Inspections. Incidents, COI, work request, PM
Building engines is easy to navigate. The dashboard is a great summary page and highlights critical areas that need a manager's focus.
Not very sleek for tenants. Broadcast message tool could use improvement. Need a tenant portal. Slow response times.
One location for work orders, inspections, prev Maint, and tenant/vendor tracking
What our company values most about Building Engines is the true partner relationship. The team at Building Engines has always valued and acted upon customer feedback to improve their product.
We just wish it could integrate with everything! Maintaining disparate systems is necessary but can be difficult.
Providing quick and efficient response to customer issues.
The ability to store valuable files like Business Licenses and COIs. As well as all the filter options, being organized and keeping track has never been easier.
The website could use some more lively colors (:
Having vendors, tenants, and even buildings a click away from each other. This makes jumping from one to the other easier without opening more tabs.

Building Management, Staff and Tenants can all use the platform for all building matters. It is easy to use. Has a ton of useful features without feeling overwhelming.
I would not change a thing about the current platform.
The platform is very easy for Tenants to log a work order or reserve a building amenity. And in turn a great way for building staff to track work orders, building equipment and amenity usage.
