We have been using Anybill to process all payments related to sales and use tax on a monthly and quarterly basis. It simplifies payments so that you don't need to log in to each state to remit payments.

When you transfer funds before authorizing payments, it is not super clear where those funds are sitting, and you have to dig around the portal to find them.

Anybill is saving our team's time in processing tax payments for multiple states. rather than paying them individually. Eliminates manual work.

anybill has excellent customer service. they respond quickly and have a great staff who answer in a timely fashion. anybill offers all the bells and whistles in AP, dual check signing authority, separate invoice approvers versus payment approvers, syncs to various GL software, offers easy to access reports, including reconciliation reports

i wish they let vendors onboard themselves, and you could just send them a link so they could add their info themselves

anybill replaces an FTE in my opinion. no more paper bills getting lost in the approval process or just lost! bills can be emailed to anybill staff for upload or you can upload them yourself. anybill issues payment via check, ACH or wire as well.

I love how easy it is to upload an invoice to Anybill. It is as easy as sending an email.

The only thing I dislike is there are times when Anybill will send bills to a different route instead of my route. This is a super small dislike.

We handle so many invoices. Anybill solves the issue of organization. It is all in one place and it is super easy to track down and keep track of invoices.

Our company uses Anybill with multiple clients that we perform invoicing. Some of the best features are the interface which is easy to read through for work performed by employee and detailed invoicing for when we send the invoices on behalf of our clients. The best part though is the ability to integrate the export/import with Quickbooks and other accounting software. It's very easy to transfer data to and from when performing monthly adjustments and allows for account classifications with little need for corrections. Administration is also very easy when adding new accounts and removing old ones. Anybill's support is also consistently responsive and easy to work with.

Anybill's only limitation tends to be when we have multiple entities within the same company. Because sometimes subsidiaries require different addressing for the company location (as well as a different incorporated name), we have to separate the accounts, which requires going to one account that we have setup at a time. To date though, there has only been a handful of instances. Switching accounts is fast though, and that does help with having to do those kinds of processes.

Overall, there is very little to not like about using Anybill.

If you're looking for a good middle manager to supplement and facilitate easy invoicing, billing, payroll and reporting, Anybill is an excellent solution. The clients we have moved to the system were fairly skeptical at first, but have since come to use it and appreciate the work that it performs. It is fairly quick to configure for each client, but you may need to work on cleaning up charts of accounts for clients that haven't done so in a long time. The learning curve is very low once you get into the functions.

This software was so easy to use that my 3 year old could have been taking payments at the trade show we used it for. Super easy interface and it literally integrated with all of the accounting software we use as well as our crm without any further IT development. It's "plain English" overview of the accounting process really is like bookkeeping for dummies. Scary easy to find out where any bill or payment/invoice is within the process in paypool. Love this program.

The layout of some of the reports were not my favorite but I'm told that was customizable too. Such smart features. The data was perfect so I didn't care a ton. And if I had to nitpick I guess I thought it was a bit expensive but it is a very high quality program and I didn't pay for it so I digress.

It's cloud based so you can literally take payments anywhere and it's a seamless path to invoice data hygiene and the automated payment scheduling literally allowed me to reduce my labor cost. Also it tracks all the activity of an in voice so it brought accountability amongst the sales and operation teams that interact and constantly blame each other for mistakes.

I have not yet found any difficult thing... everything is managed with so ease that our team enjoys working for the same daily.

The integration to Acumatica case the reason we switched to Anybill. It's a bit manual in that you have to login and process the export of the data but it works. I will say their support is good though.

It's a bit manual (see above regarding the export to Acumatica) and I'm not a fan of the way you select bills to pay. You can't view all unpaid bills and select them, instead they are lumped into "funds transfers" by date and therefore can take a bit more time to sift through.

We had Bill.com before so it's a fine replacement and the fact that it imports the data into Acumatica, including the bill and payment PDFs is huge. The processing of payments and such is similar to how Bill.com was.

That there are different set routes and more than just the invoice can be attached

trying to search for information is difficult as the system can be slow and finicky.

Limiting users to only be able to see invoices they are on the route for has been a benefit so that they cannot view invoices for contractors

Excellent tool to manage invoices and approvals. Very easy and fast UI to approve bills and quickly verify the status of the bills.

Nothing major. Sometimes the mobile app crashes and we had to restart.

As a user, it was simple to be able to get my contractor's information in the tool and have regular payments approved through our organizational hierarchy as appropriate.

It isn't entirely user friendly on the first try... good for finance departments, but sometimes not as easy for the average leader/user to follow the work flow.

Good for teams large enough to have a central support team.

Consistency in payment. Easy submission of invoices by partners. Confidence in the workflow.
