Zycus is more user friendly than a tool like SAP and the future outlook of the tool appears to be heading in the right direction.

There are many details that have been overlooked by the creators of Zycus that diminish the overall value that Zycus can bring to an organization.

Here are some examples:

Zycus does not currently provide the ability to run reports based on the manufacturer and manufacturer part number fields.

The item master is separate from and not tied to the sourcing catalogs, which is not good in manufacturing environments.

Only buy the modules you need from the beginning and then add on from there. Compare products in the market to find the tool that matches the future needs of your company.

Zycus has allowed us to apply financial controls where there previously weren't any.

Seamless application that enables user to track and monitor bids. Excellent spend analytic that enables crucial and critical decision making. ( Budgeting,forecasting and saving metrics) . Easy to use catalogue management , contract management tool . Excellent end to end procure to pay solution . A great application for companies embarking on automation. Makes Vendor management easier.

Confusing templates and non user friendly RFP templates. Need to have alot of changes to the template in order to upload to the system.

Need to do a trial run/ test before embarking to it. Integration to existing application is to be considered.

Zycus S2P is a comprehensive tool especially for tracking your spending, sourcing cycles and right up to managing the contracts. The spending tool is A.I.-backed has the ability to learn from past spending patterns. It is also the most used tool. The Procure-to-Pay systems are quite new and they cannot scan the metadata from invoices, making the P2P system not as smart as the others.

I disliked the Supplier management system & the AP automation system the most as it has been quite a challenge dealing with invoices on the P2P system. The supplier management system requires a lot of checks to be filled from the supplier end which is difficult to adopt for the suppliers.

Zycus customers have used the spending tool to categorize their spending to determine where they are spending most and reduce or categorize their spending under a single bucket. This helps them make better decisions for the next soucing cycle and better negotiate their contracts with suppliers.
