It has enabled our organization to efficiently prepare and cleanse our data before it’s used in business intelligence and analytics tools for analysis. It verifies if there are missing or invalid values in columns and rows and fixes them using intelligent suggestions.

There isn't anything I don't like about Zoho DataPrep but just it needs inside sales tools for automation and some functions for bulk email or scheduling. Improve the mobile app.

I would highly recommend this product. It provides a 360-degree solution to your business organization and data professionals.

It's the best CRM for customization. Tracks interactions from webinars. It lets us know where we stand with leads, deals, and clients. Last but not least it syncs with other Zoho products, as well as many external systems, for a connected workflow.

Before using Zoho DataPrep we used to rely solely on SQL. After the initial launch of DataPrep we were still using SQL a lot because it was pretty buggy and the limitations were limited. Now after a good 1-2 years of DataPrep being on the market, you can transform data directly in DataPrep BEFORE loading it into your BI tool.

One of the features we use the most is to split the content of a column and write it into a new column. E.g. the first 3 digits of a string in Column A should be written to Column B and the remaining digits should be written in Column C.

Using DataPrep can sometimes especially in the beginning a bit cumbersome and overwhelming. E.g. instead of using dropdowns or check marks, you have to still write patterns to match text you want to extract. This would look e.g. like this `{lower}{4}`.Also finding the right extrat option is not entirely intuitive and takes some testing and tweaking.

Generally I see 2 benefits mostly: 1. We spend less time writing SQL and more time building dashboards and 2. it is a lot easier to delegate data prepping in Zoho DataPrep than it would be to hire and train somebody to do the same thing using SQL.

DataPrep is user-friendly and straightforward for our non-tech savvy analysts. We are a semi-new start-up and it helped us go through over a year’s worth of messy data and better manage future inputs.

Have found it hard to export data to other softwares after using DataPrep, but that could be us needing help.

We had a year's worth of data that was messy and incomplete, DataPrep helped us sift through that and explore insights that were hidden in all the messy data.
