Zipwhip integrates seamlessly with our software. We're able to use it with automated confirmation and trip status updates for our customers as well as send quality control text messages to our chauffeurs. Zipwhip has almost no learning curve for new staff. Searching for names/ numbers is extremely easy. We use the photo option all the time when we need to send important info to chauffeurs instantly. They also send info to us about trip updates in real time.
Didn't like the short text messages, but the messages are much longer now and can include photos. Not really much that we dislike, Zipwhip has only improved over the last year and a half and it's a much better product that keeps getting better. One other thing, editing groups could be a bit easier, but it's not hard to do currently.

We've saved time and money with automated messages. We're able to improve our quality control with our drivers with automated check-in text messages to make sure they are ready for their trips. Passengers receive text messages to alert them of important status updates, such as when their chauffeur is en route to the pick-up and on location for the pick-up.
As an office staff, we can see all communications with clients and care specialists, because all texts come to each of us. This allows us to collectively know how every issue has been addressed.
Seems to have some glitches interacting with iPhone products. I have to kill the app and reload it in order to update texts that have already shown up in my notifications.

Texting is a much better way of communicating with my sales reps. Sales Reps will respond much faster to text message verses voice mail.
The best aspect of ZipWhip is its integration...seamless with other applications, and intelligent -- only marking the phones capable of receiving texts. The template feature is also excellent, ensuring consistent communication across all prospects.

This is a fine texting app...many other apps enable convenience, but the fact that this seamlessly integrates with our VOIP system, CRM, and enterprise software is a big plus.

The ease of being able to use zipwhip and that customers/patients are able to send pictures. Also I do like the fact that there is an address book so we are able to save names of customers/patients after we have sent them a text.
The Feature to have a standard signature line for each text come in the standard package. This would be helpful versus having to re-type it each time. This used to be something ZipWhip had offered as standard. I think it should be brought back.
To give it a try. It is essential for businesses to have a messaging system and it works out great that a main number can be texted and communicated with customers. Upgrade to the better package if you want your business added to each text.
Being able to contact via text. So many people prefer a quick text vs. a phone call, especially when they are busy. It has benefited us in getting the quick response we need as a business.
Zipwhip is a great way to stay in touch with our employees, and it's awesome that our internal staff can all see the texts from each employee. It also keeps pretty long records, so we are able to see what we texted employees months ago, giving us more context to our relationship with them. The scheduled messages feature has also saved our lives more than once. When our employees have early interviews or interviews over the weekend, we don't need to set alarms or use personal time to contact them - the scheduled messages feature will do it for us!
One of our other favorite features is the keyword section. We have keyword notices set for questions about payment, for client inquiries, and for people calling out of work. This keeps our priorities in check, and means we never miss anything really important. The feature is super easy to use and has saved us many times over!
There is only one negative that I have seen with Zipwhip - you cannot text a group of over 50 people. But Zipwhip just updated this the other day which is great. The only reason we need to text more is for a text blast, so you have to create groups to text all at once, but even this is easy to do. The other dislike may be that we don't have it connected to our phone system, so we can't click-to-dial, but they be a functionality issue because of our phone provider.
I would recommend Zipwhip to anyone trying to maintain contact with their customer base, or for people with large teams. This is super easy to use for small and large businesses. I've used other platforms before that have been connected through email, external apps, etc. but Zipwhip is the simplest and cleanest to use. We've never had an issue with the platform, or with the timeliness of the messages, where other platforms have glitched. I would really recommend business giving Zipwhip a chance!!
We're able to reach our associates from our computers, rather than texting on the phone which is so slow, and can lead to pain and discomfort. We are also able to see what our coworkers text, so we are always able to be up-to-date on what is happening with our employees.
The other main benefits are scheduling messages and doing text blasts. These save us A TON of time and brainpower. We never miss a deadline or timed event with the message scheduler, which is great for our business. It also saves us from having to write sticky notes, or calendar events, keeping us more organized and streamlined. The text blasts are great for reaching out to our employees about special promotions or special referrals going on. Previously, we would have to call or post flyers, and this really does save us a lot of time and effort.

I don't always know if pictures send correctly, I've had experiences in the past where I sent a pic of a PDF of pricing and the person on the other end didn't receive it.
People are more likely to check their text messages or send a quick text rather than call someone back or return a formal email, it makes it more casual and easier for reps to get in touch with prospect and current clients
Zipwhip's price is very low compared to the competition. Additionally, the ability to connect with their API allows customizing the experience.
It can be slow sometimes when sending group messages. Also would be nice to be able to create categorize for clients and then be able to filter for those categorize.
If thinking of tying Zipwhip, definitely give them a try. For the price, you won't get anything cheaper. The platform works great and has been a game-changer for how we communicate with our clients.
We are able to effectively and easily communicate with our customers. Its incredible the open rate for text messages compared to any other medium. The engagement rate is through the roof.
I love the ability to blast out messages to large spreadsheets of contacts at once instead of individual messages which takes a lot of time. I am able to get the message out to large groups very quickly. I think the scheduling feature is one of my favorite things about the software. I am able to schedule messages to go out at some point in the future. As far as handling responses on a large scale with many people, having script templates pre-written ready to copy and paste makes managing conversations much easier, and saves a lot of time! There are many ways to incorporate this into your business, some I haven't even discovered yet, that will help you improve your business.
I really don't have any complaints about ZipWhip. Candidate spreadsheets are limited to 100 contacts (was 50 before), so that has been a great improvement...however I would still like to see that number increased to 250 or more.
One thing that I would enjoy seeing ZipWhip incorporate into their software is the ability to view and monitor many conversations at once...with a competitors software, each conversation I selected opened up a new window on the conversations board, and I was able to view 5-10-15+ conversations all at once, with the current conversation lit up, and all others dimmed. With ZipWhip, you currently have to select a conversation to enter, then back out of it, and select the next conversation to enter.
Give it a shot and test it out, the cost of the program is far exceeded by the time it saves and the convenience it provides!

What do you like best?
In the fast paced business world we find ourselves in, we find that our clients overwhelmingly prefer a text message over an email. Zipwhip has been a game changer for our law firm.
What do you dislike?
It’s great software, the only change I would ask for Is individualizing marking as read showing the rest of my team as not having been read when only I have read it. There is probably something in settings to remedy this. This is a very well designed program.

I love that Clients can Zipwhip us with simple questions instead of a call that easily could end up being 15- 30 minutes.
