Very straight-forward tool,
easy to set up and administer,
referencing multiple source calendars(work and personal) for availability is a big plus
personalization with picture and video makes the landing page look fresh and creative
there is a commercial version coming out soon. Not sure what exactly the additional features will be since the existing offering is a perfect fit for users who have a basic Google Workspace subscription(which doesn't include Calendar Appointments) and who don't want to pay for Calendly or similar complex solutions.
I needed a simple solution to present clients with my availability where it takes a couple of clicks to book a meeting. Zcal solves exactly this problem.
The interface with gmail and google calendar makes my life much easier. Zcal has significantly cut down my time in coordinating meetings. It is also incredibly easy and flexible to use. It is an excellent tool!
So far I can't find anything I dislike about this tool. The tool has worked out perfect for me.
I have saved a lot of time by avoiding back and forth trying to coordinate meetings. I have become much more productive with zcal.
Love having free unlimited invites. I can send out as many participants as I need to schedule a meeting. ZCAL is also very user friendly and very easy to use. It saves me a lot of time to schedule meetings. The direct integration with Google Calendar makes scheduling so much seamless that I can effectively manage my busy schedule.
Almost nothing to dislike. It is a wonderful product.
Zcal saves me a lot of time to be more productive.
My favorite thing about zcal is the UI. I used to be an avid Doodle user, but after having to set up so many Doodle polls where I had to click each 30minute time slot, and users had to scroll and scroll, I knew there had to be a better alternative. A friend told me to try zcal, so I checked it out. As the scheduler, to set up the time slots is super easy, you just click and drag! And as the attendee, to select their availability, they're able to click and drag to select their availability. It's much easier to use than Doodle. And the best part is, no ads! Very clean UI.
I think I was so used to Doodle that it took me a while to learn zcal. Not that zcal isn't user friendly, it is! But with any new application, learning takes time and maybe a few mistakes. So far there isn't anything I dislike.
Scheduling meetings with people outside of my company. Have saved lots of time and back and forth emails with folks.
Zcal has lots of features like group polls and unlimited events for free accounts.
They don't yet have stripe integration for business use cases and don't offer per-event calendar configuration (write and read).
We're using zcal to solve our scheduling needs for each of our service providers. Zcal makes it easy for our therapists around the world solve their inter-timezone scheduling needs.
Fabulous features in free tier other providers like Calendly charge for.
No spam protection and nothing planned. I get 10+ spam meeting registrations EACH day from my demo scheduler and I can't deal with losing those times and manually deleting the events as a daily task.
It does a great job at integrating with Google calendar and offers a clean, user friendly interface for clients.

This calendaring app has got to be my favorite so far. You can customize your header, your instructions, attach tracking for more than one calendar and sorts of other things.
It takes a little getting used to, but because you can do more right from the start for free, it is actually more intuitive than it's top competitor in my opinion.
I can add multiple calendars to correctly track and display my availability, AND I can have more than one calendar (instead of just one) for people to book from. So, no more trying to send people useless 30-min booking links when they need an hour.
