ZBrush is widely praised for its powerful sculpting tools, which users describe as intuitive and comparable to working with real clay. The software excels at handling high-resolution models and offers a wide array of brushes and features for achieving intricate detail. However, its complex user interface and steep learning curve are frequently cited as drawbacks, particularly for beginners. Many users also note a lack of intuitive navigation and suggest improvements to the user experience. Despite these issues, ZBrush remains a popular choice for professionals in the gaming, film, and 3D printing industries, as its unique sculpting capabilities are unmatched.

The tools available to sculpt with make this a great software for sculpting.
Not a huge fan of the interface. It could be simplified a little.
N8ne tgat I can think of off the top of my head.
Zbrush is very wonderful software for sculpting, One of the best things about Zbrush is its has a wide range of tools and features which help in scult and shape high resolution models with control . This is best for gaming industries for character and high quality environment designs.
This software require high performance computer for smooth work . Because when the computer specification is not good this software crashed between work . Otherwise its perfectly fine software for 3D artists
When I want to make high quality character models and assets model details its help me make good quality output for models . This software specially helps me in making characters models
ZBrush provides compatibility with other 3D software, allowing for seamless integration into existing workflows. It supports various file formats for importing and exporting models, making it compatible with industry-standard software like Autodesk Maya, 3ds Max, and Adobe Photoshop.
ZBrush has its own unique interface layout and naming conventions for tools and features. This can make it challenging for users accustomed to other 3D software to transition and adapt to ZBrush's specific terminology and workflow.
ZBrush's ability to work with high-resolution models makes it a valuable tool for 3D printing and digital manufacturing. Artists can create intricate and complex models with precise details, ready for fabrication through various additive manufacturing processes.
One of the best things about ZBrush is its ability to sculpt and shape high-resolution models with great precision and control. It also has a wide range of tools and features, such as the ability to sculpt in 3D, use dynamic topology, and create detailed textures and materials. Additionally, it has a user-friendly interface and is widely used in the entertainment and gaming industries for character and environment design.
One potential downside of ZBrush is that it has a steep learning curve and can take some time to master all of its features and tools. Additionally, it can be resource-intensive and may require a high-performance computer to run smoothly.
One of the main benefits of using ZBrush is the ability to sculpt and shape models with great precision and control, making it possible to create highly detailed and realistic models. The software also has a wide range of tools and features, such as the ability to sculpt in 3D, use dynamic topology, and create detailed textures and materials. Additionally, it has a user-friendly interface, which makes it easy to navigate and use.
Of course the ease of sculpting creatures. And, the best thing - you can above 10 million poly in your model and yet it won't lagg in a decent system. Even softwares like Maya can compete
Handling reference images whole sculpting can be improved as you and probably a dock that holds all your reference images can be incorporated in the user interface.
I own a very low level workstation and I can still model high details assets effortlessly which is remarkable and rare to find. Also the zplugin and other plugins that helps in creating the base model of a creature.
I like all the things in ZBrush, like Topology, 3d paint, Sculpting, ZRemesher, and a lot of stuff. I am very addicted to sculpting tools, you can make your imaging in the 3d world.
Some it's crash between work, I think it can be improved on interface layout otherwise all is good.
I solve a lot of problems in Zbrush like topology, high to low poly model, Sometimes correcting the model details and exporting high detailing the model.
The work environment is addictive, you can sculpt and practice all day as you feel comfortable. The tools were developed like no other 3d software, a unique experience to create without limits while the software refines all the details for you.
The amount of menus and tools on the home screen can confuse beginners, as much as it is an addictive experience, the environment is not interactive at all. You have to put in effort on the first try to sculpt a simple design.
ZBrush is not just limited to artists who work professionally, you should definitely try the powerful tools it offers and implement it into your workflow.
I use ZBrush whenever I need to mold a part superficially, the tools available are premium, especially when it comes to retopology. The work is done by dividing the object into polygroups which makes the finalization of the topology much easier.
I like all the possibilities with Zbrush. You can create whatever you want. It is good for hard surface modeling, organic modeling, sculpting, and what not. You can easily do texturing in Zbrush as well as modeling for 3D printing. You can even do models ready for CNC machine.
The The user interface is a little bit tricky to handle, especially when starting. Later on, you can be fast by implementing your configuration of the UI. It is a must-have. Other than that I don't think Zbrush has any flaws. Very rarely I have crashes.
If you do modeling, Zbrush is a must have. The software has so much possibilities but you need to be really good at it. Once you understand the workflows you can create whatever you want. Suggestion for all the new users is don't get scared by the "complexity" of the UI. It will take a while to figure it out, but later it will be worth it.
In my case, I am realistically doing organic modeling and sculpting. From there, I am importing to rendering software. Sometimes I do texturing too. Also, If i have to add any micro surface detail, I do it in Zbrush. If you are a game designer, you can use this software from top to bottom. If you have a high poly model, you can easyily make a retopo version and export. Also, I have created many models ready for 3d print.
At first, I was hesitant about purchasing this software just with the price tag, but it is worth every penny! The number of functions that this comes with and the ability to customize everything about the user interface makes it incredibly easy for someone to set it up just for their workflow.
The difference between the subscription-based and the perpetual license is a new normal that I am not a fan of for most programs. Luckily this one still provides a perpetual license if one wants, just without the upgrades.
If you genuinely want to do high-end 3D sculpting, you will get everything you need out of the program. The price tag is very steep, but if you can save up enough for it, you won't regret the purchase.
I wanted to take my 3D modeling to the next level and was having trouble doing that with the programs that I had. ZBrush is feature-rich and is undoubtedly the top o the line with 3D sculpting.
