The concept of putting the expert front and center is great and we really like the Netflix-like experience as well as the the video-first approach. The best digital experience today wins.
Zapnito does not offer an app version which to us is the biggest draw back. In today's times apps are a must and expected by everyone. They are a key driver for making the community more engaged and sticky. But I believe the app version is on their roadmap and will hopefully be released soon.
Taking the noise out of social sites and creating a more safe and exclusive community environment.

Zapnito is a well built platform that allows us to build community platforms, which can showcase expert content and build professional networks. It is intuitive and user friendly, with a wealthy supply of tutorials at every step. The most outstanding feature is the customer support - they are extremely quick to respond and willing to assist every request. I never feel like I am alone in the process, or left waiting around for answers to queries.
Not much to complain about - the team are helpful and quick to assist, and eager to adapt the product to best suit our needs.
Zapnito has enabled us to build various community sites that support different conferences, events and allow us to showcase content from existing journals. It has allowed us to use the content in a new way - to engage users and create a community of experts who can discuss and contribute themselves.
For some time Winmark has been looking at substantially improving its digital offering for its members. The impact of Covid-19 accelerated this process due to the urgency created by the resulting financial crisis across all markets, and the impact of social distancing on face-to-face events.
Agility
In the first 2 weeks, we took a MVP approach and delivered a solution with more than enough features to support the initial MVP as to provide feedback for future development and prioritised enhancements for weeks 2-4, including member experience needs and opportunities. Their 'agile' methodology, enabled a more dynamic approach, resulting in frequent deliveries (soft to hard launch), enhanced benefits (stuff we hadn't thought of), more relevant prioritisation and further embedding of 'agile' within Winmark.
Exceptional Customer Service
Zapnito prides themselves on the high-quality support they provide each and every one of their valued clients. I couldn’t agree more - this was apparent from day 1. Their highly skilled team personally guided us ‘step-by-step’ through the development of our new online community and always picked up the phone to call us if we sent an email. I was particularly impressed with their personalised training sessions and the fact that their CEO, Charles Thiede always made a point of attending!
I was going to mention the ability to provide a platform to support existing business processes but on reflection, Zapnito is sufficiently flexible to enable future change and promote continuous improvement (which it has delivered so far).

First, the team at Zapnito are highly responsive, creative, and committed to our success. Next, the platform itself is easy to learn and manage as an administrator, and is easy for our content partners to contribute their expertise. Plus there are additional features for us to learn so that we can grow our offerings as we evolve our strategy.
So far I haven't run into anything that I dislike about the platform. In fact, I asked if a particular feature was available and it wasn't something other clients had asked them about. One week later, that feature became available! The Zapnito team is listening to their clients!
We've been able to bring our knowledge and expertise to the forefront and share it with new audiences, while also aggregating content from other experts in our sector. The Zapnito platform allows us to share this expertise more broadly and reach new audiences - truly making the platform a "one-stop-shop" for the resources, research and real-time conversations professionals in our sector need to be effective and efficient in their jobs.
I absolutely love Zapnito's mission of creating highly engaged online communities, which is exactly what they let us do. The team is incredible at helping us when it comes to figuring out how to use their platform to achieve maximum success - they offer excellent support and are always eager to provide guidance on optimising the way we use the site.
I also love that Zapnito continually seeks to improve their platform and takes customer feedback very seriously. They are always rolling out new features that make it easier to create engagement and increase the sense of community on the site, conduct webinars and post regular updates, and often ask us for feedback.
Overall, Zapnito's team is amazingly helpful, their mission & vision are incredibly focused and well executed.
Since the team is always looking to improve their site and test out new features, sometimes we encounter a few bugs here and there which may be frustrating. Saying that, the support team provides very quick service, and the bugs quickly get resolved.

Zapnito allows us to effectively connect current scholars, alumni, research supervisors, and other faculty from all around the globe in one place, creating an expert network that enables people to exchange ideas, collaborate, share their expertise, and mentor each other. Through features like Rooms and Video Panels, Zapnito allows us to maintain intersectionality by providing dedicated spaces to sub-groups, while simultaneously creating a widely shared feeling of belonging, community, and connectedness.
I like how involved the team is to helping your business achieve success. Your success is their success - they are great at listening to your needs and working with you.
Wish there was more of a "forum" style available and a direct chat function so people wouldn't have to email or go to another site to connect.
I highly recommend Zapnito not only is their team great and extremely helpful but it is a wonderful tool to use to connect people, keep people up to date and to help "contactless" interaction.
Zapnito has allowed our attendees and IT professionals to connect on a single platform. The best thing they are able to do is to share ideas and help each other through problems someone from one state might be experiencing and someone in another state might have already created a solution for.
