I like the dashboard and the problem by severity chart because you can focus on the most critical issue and take action. Also, I love the graphs cause they are essential for checking historical use or baselines.

The forecast functions are not very clear on how to use it. The online pdf or help does not show simple examples of how to use it with primary disk space monitoring for instance.

We are an Infrastructure MSP, and it's vital to know our customers' health or monitoring devices. Zabbix fits us very well. Our benefit is that we can maintain the customer's SLA in track.

Zabbix can monitor almost anything - from server resource consumption to web server certificate expiration date or database table data. Zabbix is an open-source advanced monitoring and alerting solution. It can monitor agent or agentless devices using many types of built-in monitoring solutions. Zabbix has a wide variety of built-in templates for many popular vendor product monitoring.

As of writing this review, Zabbix (v 6.2.1) has just a basic solution for monitoring Kubernetes workloads. I hope this will be updated during the next releases.

Zabbix monitors all of our virtual and physical servers. Be it Linux or Windows, Zabbix can monitor them. We also use Zabbix for database performance monitoring, using built-in MySQL DB templates.

Zabbix is an excellent open source network monitoring tool. It has been very helpful for the monitoring of our devices which includes not only our network device but even AV and Printers as well.

Initial implementation is a little tricky.

Helps in network monitoing and gives proactive alerts in case of system going down or ant performance alerts.

.- The reporting system could be better. I had to create my own availability reports in reporting services to get a simply and user friendly report about availability of my services.

- I can supervise my IT plattform and receive emails in real time when the things goes wrong, then I can correlate the time of events in my services to see the cause of the trouble.

- Zabbix provides an EXCELLENT tool for monitoring for free.

Zabbix promptly reports any real-time problems it detects on an asset. This allows action to be taken with excellent timing to prevent a failure. Easy to use and quick to install.

The greater the asset compartment the greater the hardware requirements of the zabbix server. Very powerful software that offers many opportunities, including through script writing, which can prove difficult for novices.

Zabbix allows me to detect problems, such as excessive loads on servers or high temperatures on other equipment, and so I can intervene promptly and avoid failures

It is highly customizable, allowing us to define triggers, thresholds, and actions based on specific requirements. It is able to handle large-scale environments.

For beginners sometimes it might be face complexity to understand the user interface. But after using some days it can be overcome. But considering customizable features it's an excellent product for monitoring networks.

As I'm working at an Internet service provider. I need to monitor a large number of POP & my client's network. I can customize features as per my requirements. As I need to monitor many sensitive networks zabbix helps me to provide trigger updates. It provides flexible alerting and notification mechanisms.

I covered nearly every aspect of zabbix... deploy 3 zabbix servers, doing upgrades from version 3 to 6... and get all the observability needed for production grade services... just try and enjoy !

Since version 6, kubernetes observability need a few more documentation, and proxy needs a mire robust implementation... but it's bot really a problem...

Extracting metrics on lot of applications and services... but i also use an Elastic stack and grafana as a logging/metrics aggregator...
