YCharts is voluminous in the information it offers. The resources available to analyze stocks, mutual funds and ETFs is pretty amazing. Their customer service is incredible, too. When I encounter something I cannot seem to resolve, their online chat feature is always available. No other company's offering is as effective at providing the details and data that I require.

Sometimes it doesn't seem as intuitive as I'd like, and it's not inexpensive. However, I do believe I receive good value for the dollars invested in it.

YCharts helps me analyze investments and provides a tool for easily evaluating historical performance even using initial investment information from decades ago. It also helps me provide some guidance to clients who are trying to decide whether to continue holding an investment or if to liquidate and look for other investment opportunities. I believe it has made money for my clients and me.

Everything, custom dashboards, the tracking/modeling, reports and indicators! All of it, is awesome.

Nothing I can think of... I don't currently dislike anything.

Tracking and analysis

Y Charts gives users so much more than stock, index, ETF and mutual fund information and portfolio building. It literally has statistics on everything. You want to compare the average Canadian home price vs. teh U.S? no problem. Y Charts has provided me as a investment professional the ability to raise the bar and elevate my brand and image. When I first was introduced I was a bit sticker shocked but 4 years later and I can confidently say this program continues paying for itself ten fold to win new clients and provide more insight and value to my clientel.

Furthermore, the software is so user friendly that I was able to quickly implement and integrate it into my business. The reports can be as user friendly or indepth as your require. I tunr to Y Charts every single day and its part of my daily routine when I get to the office.

YCharts helps me with ETF and Mutual Fund Research, Back testing, and comparison. I also run reporting on a set number of securities on a weekly basis that YCharts has made automated vs. the manual process it was prior.

In the year or so I've been a subscriber, YCharts continues to add more and more features and value to its offering. Its research capabilities, market insghts, and report offerings are terrific. I was a Morningstar user and fan before, but YCharts has been perfect for the level of investment research and portfolio development and management I need for my clients.

On top of that, their customer service is amazing. They are always quick to respond and extremely thorough when providing help. They have weekly webcasts on how to use the app to service clients, which are archived for later viewing.

There are several things I like, the build your own screener is probably my favorite as the screener has tons of things I have wanted elsewhere, especially digging under the cover of ETFs that I wasn't able to find elsewhere. I also like the comparison model I can use, as a lot of times I will look at two similar ETF's, and I can really get extremely detailed information on Ycharts.

I use Y charts virtually every day, and when I have a question, I get answers or the help that I need fast. I have also found the app is easy to use and integrate into my daily workflow.

I have asked to add moving averages to the arsenal of screeners, but I don't know if they implemented it. They have a few, like the 200EMA I believe, but I asked for some they don't have. That really isn't a big deal, but if I suggest adding something, I wish I knew if they ignore or implement it.

The ease of use and the high availability of important information. I am able to use it all week and every day with ease. I'm increasingly finding great features to add into my process and it was extremely easy to integrate

Compiled financials and historical data in one place. Easily integrates into excel etc.

The interface is very user-friendly. Once you get used to it, it seems so simple that you forget how tedious these tasks would be without YCharts. But even when there is something that you are not able to figure out, the chat support function will get you an answer in a matter of minutes (my problems were always solved within 10 minutes). The model portfolio tool is one of our favorites, because it is great at tracking your own holdings and it also creates your portfolio as a security in YCharts, allowing you to compare it to other funds and create custom charts and pdf reports with it. Once you start playing with the software, you will quickly see which tools are best for your practice and which ones you will end up using almost every day. It reallys blends well in your day-to-day tasks and will save you time!

The collaborative features are great in general, but the notes are a bit limiting. There is no way to streamline notes for all holdings in a portfolio and create a "feed" to quickly see the toughts of all team members on each stocks. Also, the excel add-in and its templates are great, but you should know that it is an external download, so if you are using YCharts on a work computer, your IT department might not allow the download. The solution would be to use the add-in with a personal computer, but that can sometimes be a little bit annoying.

It allows us to have an accurate tracking of our model portfolios and useful historical metrics. We can also quickly find stocks or ETFs that meet our search criteria and create reports to meet our KYP requirements.

.What I like best about Y charts is the ease and speed of screening funds amongst peer groups, getting valuable data and individual funds, and the ability to have my models inside of YCHARTS and to use during my client meetings

Figuring out your home page and how to create a user friendly homepage that gives me a lot of the information I want to see right away without needing to click through menu tabs
