The YardiRENTCafe is the modern side of Yardi, making handling prospects and residents very simple. I can handle all aspects of our property from one location and very simply.
Some rent settings can be tricky; manual entry is needed to update rents when rents are not the same as Yardi. Therefore when putting someone on notice, you must then follow up with YardiRENTCafe.
They host our website and make handling leasing digitally very easy. They made the switch to online from in-person a simple transition, and when I encounter a problem, they are beneficial and very resourceful.
I like how easy it is to update my website in Rent Cafe. So many uses.

I love the quick insight reports and charts at the homepage and the easy access of important tools to manage a property (e.g. the pipeline with all the contact info and activity notes with potential renters).
There's so many tools in Yardi that some can get lost in the menu. There may be a learning curve on how to set up certain reports to generate the results you need.
Keeping track of all customer interactions--documenting details of every activity with the client in-person, over the phone, by e-mail, anywhere--has helped our property stay accountable on any issues our tenants may have, and has helped our team stay informed on any tenant related incidences with minimum misinformation.

I love the user friendliness of Yardi Rentcafe. There have been recent updates that make it so much simpler to walk residents and applicants through.
While the frequent updates are great, there are very rarely notifications that it has been updated. It will stop working mid task, and you have to clear your cache and cookies for the newest update to work.

Residents are able to pay rent, place service requests, sign leases and post bulletins to the community. Amenity reservations, lease generation and move in process are streamlined easily for the office.

I like that someone can apply in RentCafe, pay fees, sign a lease, and continue to pay rent in that same account.
The support for RentCafe can be inconsistent and extremely delayed. Being able to use RentCafe with our other systems is crucial to day-to-day operation and sometimes support can be distant.
