Its very easy to use for every team member and most of them use it frequently like other personal social network

There are very limited options to personalize the content as its bounded by organization policy. Users should have oportunity to make some necessary changes based on personal interest keeping in mind their preferences

Start collaborating more closer with team on sharing professional/achievements achievements, group with other team about challanges and keep updated on things going on thoughout organization without scrolling organization intranet. Its more easy and helpful

It seems rare that we login to yammer to check the happenings as other uses such as communications etc are not very used services of the product.

Yammers provides an easy way to connect with colleagues and keep us updated on the most recent establishments inside an organization. Sometimes it helps in situations such as a technical issue or query resolutions also. We can also connect with an available resource when the organization size is big.

Best thing about yammer is we can praise people very easily

I like that Yammer, despite being a business application, is part of the work that is not so official and simultaneously fulfills its role in the company. You can create various channels on various topics so that the posted content reaches only interested recipients.

In my case, I don't have the option to turn off email notifications. It is set as a default parameter and cannot be changed. I receive 3-4 emails daily, but I would check that anyway in Yammer, so I consider those messages unnecessary.

In large companies connecting employees worldwide, communication is a very important factor in running a business. Yammer perfectly fulfills the role of a communication tube where employees can communicate in any way. You can use Yammer as a technical newsgroup or platform for scheduling meetings after work. We use Yammer to update the students on the institution's recent academic and non-academic activities. The interface is so easy to upload content and share it with people. One good feature is the customization to open for a particular section of people.

Yammer doesn't support all types of media. It supports Jpeg Png for photos and mp4 for videos. We tried uploading Jpeg4 or pdfs across platforms and always got error messages. Maybe it should start opening other formats, also.

Yammer serves as an excellent platform for keeping the community updated on activities happening at company level. We can quickly inform about events, updates, results, activities etc. We can also attach media for better engagement and footfall. It's a great asset to the organization.

Through yammer, we can easily connect with friends and colleagues, share posts, and comment on others. Building professional and personal relationships across groups is a beautiful opportunity Yammer provides. The interface is good, I like it, it gives enough space for posts, images etc., for a clear view.

The mail notifications are sometimes annoying; we get a lot of unrelated spam mail notifications from yammer which disturbs the work-related things. We should get an option to customize it.

Building professional connect one of the critical areas in the workplace, and yammer is helping to do the same in a fun and interactive way.

We can connect, talk, share, post and do a lot of various activities over yammer, along with making an excellent professional join.
