Get your business relevant data taken care of in an efficient way
The ability to pull information from many different parts of the CRM to create contract documents is a huge timesaver
The learning process was quite involved and we hit a few snags along the way, mostly to do with documents in OneDrive not being compatible with the save locations in XpertDoc
We generate multiple versions of contracts depending on the agreed terms with the customer, location or duration of engagement. This is very simply handled for us by collating information from different parts of the CRM to produce the final document
I like how easy it is to configure and how flexible it is to make changes. That has helped us tremendously with design changes.
We decided on Xpertdoc due to its flexibility, other services did not provide this.
I would like to see a broader integration with Experlogix product configurator. Perhaps be able to use data from the CPQ to publish on the document. I would like to see that feature being available to your customer who purchased Xpertdoc and CPQ

One of the best implementation features is the automated Calligo template migration and compare tool. This tool allowed Xpertdoc to convert and verify the conversion of all of our templates in a matter of weeks rather than having to spend months recreating all of the templates from scratch. The ability to implement the solution in under a year was beneficial both for the staff and for resource allocation. The solution itself is very easy to use. We received roughly 2.5 days of training and, aside from questions here and there, have been able to adapt very quickly.
Regarding the vendor, one of the things we most appreciated throughout this process was the team approach to designing and implementing the solution. The Xpertdoc team worked collaboratively with us to design a solution that would best meet our goals, while staying on time and within budget. Their response time to issues and general inquiries is unparalleled. Rather than build a solution for requirements we sent to them, we were heavily involved in the creation of the solution design document, the development of new workflows, and in the testing of the solution.
In Xpertdoc Portal 3, navigation and management of libraries could be improved. While functional, it's sometimes cumbersome to manage updates affecting multiple folders.
We were able to quickly replace the IStream/Calligo Product Suite, rework our internal workflows to reduce both speed to mail and issuance errors reaching our customers, and upgrade our printers for more efficient in-house production.
Xpertdoc is extremely professional and thorough in their work and they bring the right technical expertise to bear for their customers - we knew exactly what to expect, and when to expect it.
In our limited work with Xpertdoc there was very little to dislike.
Xpertdoc conducted a one-time analysis for us to extract business logic from a legacy publishing solution. Their ability to consume a vast number of content generation templates with embedded data transformation and business logic allowed us to build confidence that all the nuances of the old system were covered (or no longer required) in our migration to a newer publishing platform.

Replaced bespoke software requiring large numbers of servers and error prone process with robust fast process reducing errors and time.
The way Xpertdoc stitches the XML payload to produce well-formatted Microsoft word and pdf document is commendable.
Many a time if there is some issue at XPERTDOC server end the error messages are very generic one. Need to have more verbose and better error messages to understand what went wrong at the server.
There is very less documentation available either online or on site. There should be more detailed information around the programming and using the product.
Creating a word document with different sections and stitching it together in a well-formatted way without losing any style and fonts. Xpertdoc comes really handy at it. It is convenient and very simple to use.
Develop good looking documents and integrates with existing software
Sometimes the speed is frustrating. Our users don't like waiting on the "swirl of death"...

The learning process is quite involved. We managed to resolve issues with documents in OneDrive. Specific and detailed error messages greatly assist in troubleshooting server issues.
The lack of online documentation makes it difficult for users. This limits usability.
