I love the scheduling and the ability to see the appointments and teams by miles!
I dislike there are often too many steps to get to one change. I think it could be simplified.
Just continue to improve and be there when a customer needs answers and questions!
The fact that we can see our team on a schedule and where they need to be when is great. Solves not knowing what location they should be at. Gives great ETA.
The training classes, The experienced staff, The way they listen to new ideas you present to help your business run smoother. Most of all, knowing whatever my questions may be. They are always answered within a timely manner. great software!
A little less flexibility in noon chargeable items, invoicing time frames
The discontinuation if Qxpress and moving to Workwave. Not having to shop around for another scheduling software program.
They are constantly working at making the system better for each individual business. Great at emailing and calling us back or answering work related questions. And always quick on fixing any issues at the moment. Very open to our ideas and implementing them to help make the system personal for our business needs.
When the system has issues, which is seldom. I find some of the changes confusing at first when they are upgrading it. It takes added time to figure things out, but at the same time they are very eager to help, which is great. Too many different buttons to figure out where to add information or delete.
All information is a click away. Much better system then what they had in the past. Still needs some work but they do take your input seriously.

It's flexible. You can manage multiple business units.
It's incredibly hard to learn, has too many options and when you want to change something, you might end up clicking through 16 pages. There is a lack of real sales tools (no e-sig, not follow up emails for estimates, no contract signing, etc), internal communications tools (no messaging, notifications or chat) or customer portals (customers have zero insight into payment/history). They are also amongst the most expensive and their pricing is still by "seat" which gets expensive if you simply want to have access on both mobile and computer.
In addition to the usability and the lack of sales/customer features - we found the on-boarding to be extremely painful. It took months. Their migration team wasn't available for 2 months and what they were able to onboard and input for us, was extremely limited. We had to hire an entire team on our end just to input basic sales data in addition to the fees we paid to migrate onto WW in the first place.
We needed some flexibility that didn't exist elsewhere. The benefits for the feature that we needed are NOT worth the downsides of using WorkWave. Many standard features for sales, communications and customers - are available on other platforms but not WW.

Overall, the user interface and design is straightforward and mostly easy to navigate. I really like that Workwave offers a multi-company dashboard to see your whole company at a glance which could allow you to keep track with various areas of your company. Workwave is compatible with Quickbooks Online, which is a must for our company. When it comes to their customer service, I would give Workwave a 9/10. Their support representatives have always given a quick initial response to issues, provide updates and follow up to ensure you are taken care of.
Here is where the list could get a bit lengthy, but I'll keep it short...We have used Workwave for about 8 months now, and in that time period, our company has experienced intense issues with this program. Although, the initial set up process went smooth, about two months into using this program we began to notice big problems. I'll start with when we realized several invoices were not being generated when we thought they were, nor were some of the ones that did generate get pushed over to Quickbooks Online. Then we realized our scheduled/recurring jobs that we spent a lot of time setting up in the beginning was in fact, not scheduling at all. This resulted in jobs and services getting completely overlooked, which resulted in losing a few clients. Although, the support reps did all they could to assist us, ultimately they had to just send everything to the developers for improvements to the program. The first major update finally occurred about 2 months later and most of those issues were fixed. However, just recently we noticed that billing address were getting changed to past, wrong address and invoices were never reaching clients or being returned back to us, which again is making us loose money and receive delayed payments. Although the interface is mostly easy to navigate, few things seem to work very seamless. There are several other smaller things I really dislike about Workwave, and honestly, I am a bit surprised our owner stuck it out with this program for so long. The developers are constantly trying to make improvements, but this program definitely has a long way to go.
Although our company has experienced some intense issues with this program, I do think Workwave is headed in the right direction. The developers are constantly trying to fix and improve with program to work as it should seamlessly. They seem to really listen to your concerns and implement your suggestions. However, at this point I really wouldn't recommend Workwave until better improvements have been made.
Workwave is a cloud based program that allows multiple users to see everything in real time. This has been great for our business since most of our main employees work either in the field or separate offices.

They always have enough Slingshot operators to answer the phones and generally don't miss calls. Love the ability to listen to call recordings and check for quality assurance.
I contacted their department 17 times before I received a refund when I was overbilled by several thousands of dollars. This is not ethical. The operators are extremely inconsistent on the phones and frequently answered with the wrong business name, gave inaccurate pricing, and said we offered services we don't offer. It seems like a crappy place to work and nobody cares about customer care - somewhat ironic of a company built around outsourcing customer care for their clients. Stay away.
It's great to have evening and weekend phone coverage without hiring a full time person in house.

In addition, always snappy on fixing any issues right now. Workwave is compatible with QuickBooks Online, which is an absolute necessity for our company. WorkWave is an amazing software platform to maintain our business. The item is an online arrangement that has demonstrated to be entirely stable. One major advantage of WorkWave is that we can access the framework from anywhere. WorkWave is awesome in its Job and the services offered by this tool are all legit and statistically based.
There is this huge learning curve for this tool. You are supposed to be a tech savvy or a genius person to learn this tool and utilize it fully. An average employee cannot utilize this tool fully and will have so many problems in the process. Another drawback of this tool is that its user interface is quite complex, which makes it hard to find features in the tool. You have to get used to it to like this tool.
Briefly, it is an amazing tool but the User interface problem and the learning curve problem makes it harder for the user to select this tool as a service provider.
