"WorkJam is a real difference maker"
What do you like best about WorkJam?

I like their task management, learning, and communication tools. When you have hundreds of field employees scattered about, it's sometimes hard to keep employees accountable. But by using WorkJam's task management, we can easily assign tasks and keep track of who completed what and when. It has completely streamlined our old paper/pencil task checklist system, and our employees like using it too. Plus, we're able to easily control which tasks the employees see and can drill down specifically by job function, which is nice.

From the learning standpoint, our company didn't have an LMS so we use WorkJam to deliver all of our employee training and orientations. While the big picture training items are important, WorkJam's ability to help us with little microlearning sessions has been so valuable. When a policy/procedure changes, we can just upload a quick video or PDF to explain what's going on and instantly hundreds of employees have access to it. That process would have taken weeks if not months for updates like that to permeate through our organization before.

The communication piece of WorkJam is also fantastic. I like how we can assign access by channel so employees only see the necessary information they're interested in and they're not inundated with content that's not important to them. There's no question our employees are more engaged today because of WorkJam and I feel like it has strengthened our company culture.

Additionally, the customer service we receive from WorkJam is outstanding. Whether it's tech support when there's a problem or a regular check-in with our account rep, you can always reach someone when you need them and they frequently reach out to you to make sure everything is going well.

What do you dislike about WorkJam?

I think sometimes our employees get frustrated that it lacks certain features they're familiar with on social media. For example, the ability to post multiple photos or to tag specific users in comments or posts. They're using this type of functionality on many other social platforms and don't understand why it can't function the same way.

The good news, though, is that WorkJam is constantly innovating and making enhancements to the product. Every quarter or so, new features and functionality come out and in most cases, we're able to utilize those new updates to make our experience better.

Recommendations to others considering WorkJam:

WorkJam can be a difference-maker, but you need to understand that it's a tool that is only as valuable as the people using it. Your team has to be committed to using it to push out tasks, training, and communications. It won't do that work for you, so it's a good idea to have someone on your team who oversees WorkJam and can stay on top of the leadership team to ensure it's being fully utilized.

What problems is WorkJam solving and how is that benefiting you?

For us, the biggest thing is frontline employee engagement. We launched in Feb 2020 right before COVID hit, and the way we were able to effectively communicate with our employees during that time was thanks mostly to WorkJam. That has carried on since then, and I believe our ability to communicate, train, and prioritize work through WorkJam has helped with employee morale, which aids in retention, and ultimately helps our end customer.

"One Stop Digital Workplace for Frontline Employees"
What do you like best about WorkJam?

Workjam is a digital workplace for frontline employees. A one stop shop makes it easy for team members to check their roster, submit availability requests, get communications, trainings and complete surveys. Team members can also be assigned tasks which are linked to trainings, badges etc and complete to notify thier team and central support offices of what has been completed. Team members can utilise their phones which means everything they need to help their team and the customer is in their hand - no more searching through checklists, memos and training folders!

What do you dislike about WorkJam?

Workjam has changed the way we communicate to our frontline, and the immediacy that we can provide information, receive feedback and address issues has been so important to us as we navigated through the challenges that the pandemic provided us.

What problems is WorkJam solving and how is that benefiting you?

Workjam has allowed us to move into a digital workplace putting access to all the information a team member requires in their hands. Information is now accessible to the employee when they require it and reduces the impact on customer experience from team members not knowing about promotions or being able to answer customer questions. It ahs improved communication between the office and frontline teams and allows for two way feedback across communications, trainings and any tasks that need to be completed at a store level.

"Used it for all our Design Projects"
What do you like best about WorkJam?

Tried out WorkJam to manage our team while we have many projects going at once. Previously tried Asana, ClickUp, and Monday.com - but I found our less tech-savvy employees couldn't navigate the interfaces at times. This works much better!

What do you dislike about WorkJam?

The interface still could be cleaned up a bit more - but that is the issue with most apps likes this. I don't understand why they stuff them full of pop-ups and overwhelming features that distract from ya know...tasks at hand.

Recommendations to others considering WorkJam:

It is a very easy-to-learn tool for our non-tech-savvy employees. I was wasting a lot of time training employees on project management and time management apps when really these apps are supposed to alleviate work not add to it! I like this one much better!

What problems is WorkJam solving and how is that benefiting you?

Managing multiple tasks across many platforms and employees. Some who are used to project management apps some not. Some who need little babysitting to those who need their hand held.

There isn't anything I dislike about Workjam. I can't wait to see the future functionality of the tool and where it will go foe the employee enablement .

What problems is WorkJam solving and how is that benefiting you?

I am seeing the ability for employees to manage their own schedules and provide feedback within the tools quickly and with ease. Being able to bring in data from other applications for one view is also very helpful for employees.

"WorkJam is great for finally connecting with a frontline that is not deskbound."
What do you like best about WorkJam?

Simple to use as an end-user. Secure because we can authenticate the users.

What do you dislike about WorkJam?

Lots of features means lots of admin potential.

What problems is WorkJam solving and how is that benefiting you?

WorkJam has given us a secure method for communicating with the frontline teams. Before, people used open market apps or texting which is not ideal for conducting business. Also able to centralize task management for our store managers so they are not getting redundant requests across phone, email, etc.

"Operational and administrative user of WorkJam"
What do you like best about WorkJam?

WorkJam has proven to be a one stop shop for our organisation to engage with our team members through communication channels, deliver compliance through the use of task manager and close the circle with the use of the workforce functionally with a vision to have one app for team members making their lives simpler and allowing them to focus on the customer

What do you dislike about WorkJam?

Functionality continues to improve within the platform allowing a very engaging platform. Roadmap improvements to the more social media type aspects are on the way which is fantastic.

What problems is WorkJam solving and how is that benefiting you?

Task management has helped our business to significantly improve compliance results across many areas of the business such as visual merchandising, ticketing set ups, legislative requirements as well as general set ups which need to be completed within stores. Additionally, task management is helping us to simplify and rationalise tasks across the business by moving them from a paper based task to a digital task allowing our auditors to review remotely using the reporting functionality which in turn has saved time and mitigated risk for the business. The ability to assign as task to a team member has meant our store teams are able to align workload to the workforce ensuring all tasks are able to be achieved on time. This functionality within the platform has supported improvement in compliance and engagement across our fleet of stores.
