"Exceptional CRM Software for Business Growth"
What do you like best about Workbooks?

I’ve been a user of Workbooks CRM for around 4 years now, and I must say, this CRM software has exceeded my expectations in every way, and here's why:

1. Highly Configurable and Flexible: Workbooks offers a level of configurability and flexibility that’s comparable to the big players in the CRM space such as Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics but at a fraction of the cost and with a simpler user interface to boot. It provides a wide range of customisation options, from fields and workflows to automations and reports. This flexibility ensures that the software can adapt seamlessly to unique business processes and requirements, rather than forcing you to conform to a rigid system.

2. Scalable: As your business grows, Workbooks is perfectly capable of growing with you. Its scalability allows you to start small and expand as needed, safe in the knowledge that you won’t have to switch CRM again in the future. The ability to scale without disruption is vital for any business, and Workbooks excels in this regard.

3. Integrability: One of the standout features of Workbooks is its comprehensive API which allows Workbooks be seamlessly connect with almost anything, from email marketing platforms to accounting software and beyond.

4. Quality Support: Customer support is often a make-or-break factor when choosing software, and Workbooks shines in this department. Their UK-based support team is responsive, knowledgeable, and friendly. You won’t be left on hold for hours or left waiting for days to a reply to your email; and there is a lot to be said for that when choosing a CRM.

In conclusion, Workbooks is a top-tier CRM solution that ticks all the boxes. Its high configurability and flexibility, scalability, seamless integration capabilities through a robust API, and quality support make it a standout choice for businesses of all sizes. If you're looking for a CRM software that can effectively manage your customer relationships, adapt to your needs, grow with your business, and provide exceptional support, you need look no further.

What do you dislike about Workbooks?

Workbooks has very few faults when compared with other CRM's, but I would like to see the following improvements in the near future:

1. The ability to make changes in a sandbox environment and then push them to a live environment. While you can create test databases with ease, any changes you make will need to be subsequently recreated in the live environment.

2. Have the option for system admins to login as other users, this would make providing support to users much easier.

3. A drag-and-drop form editor would be a nice touch!

"A CRM With Almost No Limits"
What do you like best about Workbooks?

The greatest thing about Workbooks in my opinion is the near limitless level of customisability, which puts the restrictions of the software in the users hands rather than the software itself. Because of this, if you are able to dedicate some time to learn the intricacies of the system, such as reporting, plugins and custom records, you are able to create a completely unique and customised CRM; enabling any business to have a system which is fit for them.

Even though this sounds complex to begin with, the user interface of Workbooks is extremely easy to understand, and Workbooks provides fantastic resources to learn, such as their training videos and their Knowledge Base. Additionally, their customer support is extremely helpful and knowledgeable, which makes the experience of workbooks even easier to learn and understand.

I have been using Workbooks for just over a year, and have not yet found a problem which I have had to say 'Workbooks cant do this' due to the vast amount of options, support and customisability the system offers.

What do you dislike about Workbooks?

Its hard to find anything I would say I 'dislike' about Workbooks, but something that may effect users negatively is that some of the systems more advanced features do utilise programming languages, such as calculated columns utilising formulas based on MySQL, and scripts using PHP.

Because of this, more in-depth/custom reports and automation does require a large chunk of additional time to learn these languages, which some users may find daunting or not enjoy.

What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?

The main problems that Workbooks helps us solve relates to human error, in which certain features within workbooks allows us to prevent a variety of mistakes being made, and helps us keep on top of our work through automation. Some of the ways Workbooks allows us to do this includes:

1. Highlighting data that could be wrong and automatically sending it to us on a daily/weekly/monthly basis through scheduled reports

2. Automatically generating tasks to follow up/chase clients for important information

3. Locking down certain form fields by making them 'read only', as well as forcing users to fill in certain fields by making them 'required'

4. Automatically rolling on records for the next year, instead of having us make them manually

5. Providing a simple and easy way to merge duplicate records if they are created through the 'merge duplicates' feature

6. Automatically filling in certain form fields through the field updater plugin

"Workbooks is ideal for SMEs"
What do you like best about Workbooks?

It has everything you need to store the contact information for your accounts & contacts (customers, prospects, suppliers etc.) You can be reminded about your most important activities from the CRM or Outlook & you can track marketing campaigns & sales performance using its views, reports & dashboards. You can even use it to send sales orders & issue invoices, credit notes, contracts & supplier orders!

What do you dislike about Workbooks?

Like any application you need to invest time to learn the software but Workbooks is pretty intuitive.

What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?

A repository of contact information (prospects, customers, suppliers).

Email marketing.

It's much quicker than using spreadsheets!

"An extremely useful software for organisation!"
What do you like best about Workbooks?

The way that you can share your progress of tasks, opportunities and company info with your fellow colleagues on shared platform.

What do you dislike about Workbooks?

The least helpful thing on Workbooks is the search engine as sometimes not all entries come up such as tasks despite typing in a part of the title.

What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?

It helps me solve any organisation issues that our team has through the tracking of opportunities and tasks.

Fast and efficient system to retrieve data

PROS: I think that Workbooks is a great system for retrieving caller data, as it records literally every detail concerning leads and cases coming to the Company's 0800 number. When you create a lead, it adds both the person and the company, which automatially cuts time for importing cases separately. We are even able to track certificates we didn't receive back, and to check the record of a client while speaking with him on the phone. Consequently, we provide information straight away, and customers are very satisifed with it.

CONS: I don't like that all activities are stored in one place, it confuses me some times. I had few cases where a user calls a site on 2.6.15, and than on 5.6.1 after few minutes, the two calls are considered the same, as there are no date/time detailes. Obviously, it takes me a while to decipher what actually happened. Another thing where Workbooks doesn't exactly shine are notifications, people happen to dismiss them a lot. The previous CRMs I used were more precise, and they had breakdown pages where all previous jobs and outstanding achievements were divided in categories, and the visual boards were marked with different colors to avoid confusion (red records were immediately filed to the managers). There are many competitor programs that do this traffic light system (Green for current cases, Amber for approaching deadlines, and Red for Overdone), so you get to the record you want quite fast. Workbooks doesn't have this, together with the fact that it assigns a single person per record.

Becomes an integrative part of your business in no time

PROS: Workbooks is like an assistant who takes care of organizing relevant information, focusing obviously on clients and their information. Having all information under one roof has been amazing, especially because access is made easy, and the version of the program is automatically updated. This is not the only pro, though. We also use it to organize mailshot campaigns, and to increase the number of clients. It is just cut for the purpose, especially when integrated with Mailchimp to build mails and to report based on them. The relationships we are building are solid and lasting, becuase we give full access to non-users who would like to see what our company is about.

CONS: Steep learning process, but not to extend of regretting your decision. I had my moments with certain options I didn't understand, but as it usually happens, things were quite simple and I didn't see that. The point is-this program is a breeze to handle, you just need to devote time and to learn it.
