Translation dictionary, color-coded view

Occasional performance issue in rendering.

Provides a complete platform for translation projects. All required features are readily available from the interface. The color-coded view highlights pending segments, any errors, and completed segments. This helps in a quick turnaround time.

The UI is a little dated but still as good as any competing product. Good response from sales and support. The licensing model is very effective and it costs less than competing products.

I would like to see more development on the core functionality, less on the business side and better support for MT. Better analytics would go a long way as well.

Wordbee's web-based translation workbench and flexible licensing means that it's easy to scale for a large project without having to buy lots of licenses.

Wordbee is a highly versatile tool. It is a TMS, file preparation tool, CAT editor all in once and makes invoicing and cost control easier as well. One of the best functions for me is the possibility to customize filters for different file formats to be able to handle most of the XML-based files my clients tend to send me. The cloud editor enables me to keep track of changes in the editor and invite my clients to make their revisions in my tool. Thus my TMs are always up-to-date. The Wordbee support reacts to my requests and gives helpful advice. The platform is constantly being developed and improved without me having to install a new version every year (plus plug-ins).

As Wordbee is a highly versatile tool the initial set-up can take a while to customize it to your needs.

Wordbee can be wonderfull tool if you put the time and effort into really trying to understand how it works. Don't expect immediate results as setting up the platform according to your needs can take a while. But it's worth it.

Using Worbee is simple and the support helps very fast.

The NEW Editor is very slow, still using the OLD one. The nextgen Editor is still in development, I took on first reviews and texts.

Expensive! Expect you to cover a full year beforehand or charge an absurd markup (20+percent VAR) for Rs obligations! Some functions aren't configurable, requiring relying, although the answer could be semi-customized. Legacy TMs, even though it can be erased, won't create fuzzy matches as a result of tag differences and TM configuration capacities, which makes it challenging to transition legacy TMs for updates. We have not seen any improvements in the program attributes set as our subscription.

Easy to use. You can change the status of a segment to green or read which makes it easy to double check some segments you are not sure if the translation is correct

Very good tool. I think some features could be added to make it even better but overall is a good tool

Translation + proofreading

The workflow management and the version control is really valuable and is the first thing that comes to my mind as its USP. We work in large teams here and there are multiple levels of hierarchy and even the smallest changes can be tracked using Wordbee as to who did what and when was it done. Support for so many languages is another high. It is simple to use and prompts errors and fixes them easily. It gives near to perfect translation and has built-in dictionaries to check from different sources if need be, which comes handy. And it's available web based, so that's pretty cool.

Couple of misrepresentations based on lack of understanding of context. Initial setup can be slightly troublesome and the UI may take some time to grow up on users.

One can start with their free trial. It has many features like different views, integrated dictionaries and phonics and a robust version controlling. If you are looking out for use in a team, I would suggest to definitely go with word bee. Will give you hassle free experience in project management.

We work in a Japanese company and use it to translate all our project documents from English to Japanese and vice-versa. It has proven to be quite a good tool given that all these features are available at a decent cost. Speed and accuracy of the tool is also mentionable.

I like the fact that you can ark when a segment is ready for review or still needs to be reviewed with different colors and the TM also works fine

I do not like that there is no way to spell check the translation within the too (at least in the version I used)

Personally, there is nothing that I particularly love about Wordbee, but there are a couple of translation agencies that use this CAT tool most of the time that they assign me projects, so I suppose it will have its good points.

It has nothing memorable. In my opinion, it is very simple, and I do not notice that it has excellent tools that help us translate or edit.

So I could say that what I dislike is that I don't feel that it has something different from the other CAT tools that exist in the market

I don't find anything that helps me more than the other CAT tools I've worked on before. It's too basic.
