Wonderlic helps us evaluate the motivation and personality of hiring candidates, which is crucial for fostering harmony and enhancing work productivity within the company.
User friendly - the online assessment is a seamless experience for candidates and hiring managers alike to utilize and retrieve results. The results reports are easy to read and interpret, and they have been an incredible value-add to our hiring process. I especially love the "new hire success" tips report. I've received rave reviews for my talent acquisition team from hiring managers as a direct result of incorporating this report into our interview process.
My main frustration is the results report we provide to hiring managers. It comes across as very "good and bad" when evaluating a candidate's personality, and frequently this can be distracting to hiring managers when attempting to make hiring decisions. I would prefer this results report to more closely mirror the candidate feedback and the results the candidate sees. Lastly, I would LOVE for the candidate feedback report to be downloadable into a readable PDF report. So many times I'm sharing screen shots of this piece with hiring managers and they concur, they would prefer utilizing this report over the results they typically receive.

Something Wonderlic does well besides having a user friendly platform is provide you with all types of resources to be able to gauge the candidates better. Wonderlic provides great customer service and walks you through the platform and offers best practices to share with your hiring managers or anyone else that will be viewing the results.
One dislike about Wonderlic is the price increase, however, it is understandable since all prices are increasing.
Wonderlic has helped with being able to identify a profile that is a better match for the different projects we hire within the organization.
We put an ad on Indeed.com, sort through the potentials, and then have every one of the potentials go through Wonscore. Tells us about their smarts, their motivation, and personality. You get a real good complete overview. Then we sort through those to determine who to interview BEFORE we interview. In the interview, we then confirm or contradict what we learned through Wonscore. It truly guides us so we know a lot about what we are getting which we can not do trusting our gut feeling. Most importantly, I find the Wonscore to be very accurate just like their paper instruments (Wonderlic) that I began using in 1990. Improvements? They make them regularly and are things that I can use before I even know that I need them. A very worthwhile investment from my point of view.
I'm sure I could possibly come up with some but have nothing as of right now. Quick, easy, and intuitive system. I recommend it.
Very much worth it and I would highly recommend as a base assessment for all personnel departments as well as small businesses.
Wonderlic separates the good candidates from the "also-rans" so we don't have to spend precious time interviewing people we will never hire.
The tool is easy to deploy to for applicants to complete. The service from the Wonderlic team is very helpful.
Establishing the correct job match took a little trial and error to find the best match. But the resources are there to ensure that the survey will be a fit for the role.

I love the training guide that I can provide to managers and supervisors for candidates coming in fresh. It gives them a great snapshot of how to communicate with the employee, how to guide the employee and identifies areas of strengths and weaknesses so that we are able to give the best training to that newcomer!
I don't really have any complaints. Having come from the old paper and pencil, fill in the little circles math and English tests from Wonderlic, this is a VAST improvement - so quick and easy to administer both externally and internally!
Wonderlic removes the mystery of where the candidate is landing at the moment in their career-intellectually, motivationally, and personality wise. When multiple people interview, and come back with subjective opinions, this is usually a gauge to bring everyone at the round table to one accord.
Wonderlic has helped us to evaluate our candidates in a way that demonstrates their abilities outside of what we can see in an interview! This has been a game changer in ensuring our hiring managers choose the best candidate
We are unable to add a job description for wonderlic to evaluate and use as a comparison for applicants. Instead, it only works off of the job title, which I fear leaves some errors in grading.
Allows us to ensure we are looking at candidates more holistically!
I love how each catorgory is broken down and how it provides you with information on how candidates best learn and the best training methods, leading to sucess!
I dislike the pricing being tied to the amount of active Job Titles allocated that we can test for. I have to keep switching out active and archived job titles.
Wonderlic is giving us the ability to see our applicants strengths and weaknesses; as well as how to measures them against another candidates applying for the same position.
Wonderlic has greatly improved our management retention rate to 86.4% this year.
No real downsides. If the assessment could be made shorter it would help those that don't want to spend 30 or more minutes taking an assessment.
It is a great screening tool which saves me a bunch of time where I only spend my time with qualified candidates.

Wonderlic allows us to assess candidates on Cognitive Ability, Motivation and Personality. Not only do the results help us in assessing candidates, they allow us to tailor our interview questions to allow for a solid assessment of the candidate's fit for the role. Our Customer Success Associate, Erica Gettis, has provided excellent support and information. Erica also made the renewal process seamless! The tool is very easy to use which is extremely helpful given the frequency we use the tool.
