The best part of Welligent is how intuitive it is and easy to follow. I also love the graphs that the system automatically creates for health information we track.
When reviewing specific notes, It's not easy to search for specific note types written by specific staff.
Welligent is a complete program that not only assists with EHR needs, but can also help with employee schedule management as well as improved billing function. For anyone who also needs to have a state or licensing body review notes this system easily pulls information for their review.

Welligent can get glitchy at times where you try to access it and it is down, even when it says its active.

Welligent is a fantastic company, and all of the people are so helpful and pleasant. The system itself seems complicated, but with time and patience, our clinicians are thriving and work processes and productivity have increased tenfold.
The best advice I can give is when implementing Welligent is to include all departments that will be affected by Welligent in the team when developing your system. This includes from the beginning of the intake all the way to accounts receivable. And make sure that the equipment you have the clinicians use is sufficient for the work they will be doing.
Our problems are continual, but the customer support team at Welligent is always available and willing to work with us in order to streamline our procedures. The biggest problem we encountered was the billing aspect and how difficult it was to set up and reach the insurance companies correctly. Being in PA, our billing is complex, but Welligent worked with us continually until all our problems were solved.

I like that Welligent can be accessed from any web browser. The navigation is very user-friendly, especially for direct care staff to document everything they need to document. I also like how much data is available and that there is an option to run reports to quickly collect that data. There are a lot of simple, well-designed features that make the user experience better, such as the option to set a home module within Welligent so that on login you go straight to the specific module you use most often.
I dislike how a lot of the forms and documents print out in a way that is not laid out very well or clearly for the person who is reading them. I also dislike how difficult it can be to run reports correctly. When entering the parameters for the report, if certain fields are not left blank, the report will not collect the right data, and it is counterintuitive which fields should be left blank.

I am used to a different EHR (SanWits) so some things seem a little counterintuitive, but I am learning.
Welligent is still very new for our agency, so we are still working out the bugs, and there is still a lot of training happening. However, I have found many features in Welligent that are very beneficial to out programs.

It is easy to navigate. We have several English as a second language folks, and they have no trouble navigating the system.
That when there is an update it sometimes renders the system unusable for that period of time.
Everything is in one place. From files we have downloaded into attachments to new doctor visits. We no longer have to search through multiple locations. And compared to our last electronic record system Welligent is super fast.
