One of Webtrends Optimize's strongest areas is in their account management, consultancy and strategy. Their developers haven't failed any tasks - even incredibly complex personalisation pieces that required bespoke development. 2024 Update: We've now been working with Webtrends Optimize for 7 years. They're still contributing a huge return on investment every single year without fail and have shaped so much of our customer facing development in this time.

Over the last 3 years we've completed over 35 projects together. This has led to an increase in customer satisfaction, conversion rate and bottom line profits. Aside from optimising layout and functionality, the most impressive projects we've done together have been hugely complex personalisation pieces that have greatly improved the overall online experience for our customers.
2024 Update: 7 years in, we've now run in excess of 80 experiments together and are now planning huge improvements to our recommendations and site search.
The platform itself is technically very good and is just as good as I’ve seen elsewhere, but the level of service and support is what takes it to beyond what you would expect. Everything we have wanted to do, even bespoke things outside a ‘normal’ experimentation or personalisation program/process, has never been a problem and they’ve helped us find solutions that really work for us. Our allocated consultant in particular, has been fantastic but everyone behind her too has been great.
Nothing really that I’d call out so far. I’ve not come across a technical blocker and any requests we have brought to the table that are outside of the norm have been dealt with in a supportive manner by the team there, with positive outcomes off the back of them.
I would certainly recommend looking at Webtrends Optimize. As I said above, the platform itself is at least on par with the others I have used (there are many things I would say are better) but for businesses like ours, the managed service really makes it even more worthwhile as it provides an excellent framework and structure to support our internal teams in delivering our goals.
We wanted to increase engagement and improve the usability of our website to ensure our users can find the information they are looking for more easily and reduce the impact on our offline teams in supporting online users. We also needed to personalise the journey for visitors more and to swiftly deliver them to the things they were looking for and reduce bounces.
The support we receive from Raquel and the Devs is absolutely brilliant. They work in such an agile way to support our constant requests and often urgent deadlines. We often get last minute urgent tests that need to be run and Optimize help out in any way they can and it's much appreciated.
I really like the tool and can't fault it as it's very easy to use.

The support has been the standout factor for us and really been second to none.
Having quite a small amount of traffic coming through the website and a small team, our website can sometimes get forgotten. However having the ease of the Optimize tool to build a test, and their team encouraging us and supporting us with simple recommendations etc. It has helped us to improve online leads/bookings and do the necessary work on our website.
Working with the team now for a while now, we have seen consistent uplifts nd value from the programme and technology. Helping us to make significant design improvements and create a high profile website that matches our high standards of service.
The only disadvantage is that we would like to do more with the tool, however we don't have the right knowledge to code any tests. Optimize have helped with some of this and the release of their new widgets tool has been a big help but we can be a little limited as we get into more advanced ideas.
We are improving the obvious sticking points on our site, as well as updating content as per the season, offers, new cocktails/set ups, etc.
It has helped us to increase online orders significantly as our traffic slowly grows, leading to a Christmas and New Year period where we couldn't fulfil the demand. Not a bad problem to have. We have more recently moved from selling on our site to enquiries and being able to target returning users has been key.
The services team have been really helpful in getting us up and running with some personalisation and experiments. They were so helpful and came up with some great ideas as well. Been running for over a year and still find the tool easy to use and the new reporting service is so quick

I Incredibly much liked the ease of using the tool. A large amount of options makes it excellent for the job. I will recommend it to everyone who wants to make their working- life much easier and faster.
Honestly, I can't say that i notice some huge disadvantages. Obviously, as any other tools there are some room to improve. Despite the fact that the company is still young the products change drastically and people who work try to do their best.
We faced variety of problem to improve our website and increase revenue. The tools assists to CRO improvements and enhance the site in general.
We like the functionality included in the trial version. This allowed us to do AB testing using the visual editor, with excellent results. Furthermore, this has made us look at this option for our future due to the ease of use, results, and cost effects.
From our current evaluation, we have not gathered any drawbacks from this product.
The revenue is an area where we as a company were facing many blockers, and we were able to allocate solutions with the use of Webtrends Optimize.

As a PM I’ve used Webtrends Optimize on my client accounts and have always found the platform really simple and intuitive for use by myself, by our tech teams (devs and CRO specialists), and for clients.
In my experience it’s been easy to onboard clients with the platform, and the support given by the team at Webtrends Optimize is first class - both in the setup stages and ongoing day to day. They are always on hand to answer any questions and the team there is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The additional guidance and training provided is something I’ve not experienced with other similar platforms.
Pricing is really reasonable and flexible, which is not offered by a lot of the other tools I’ve used in the past. Myself and my clients have been particularly impressed that they offer product recommendations and social proof features as standard, as that’s definitely something I’ve not found with many other similar platforms.
In my option the tech/platform itself is as good as (actually in a lot of cases better than!) anything else I’ve used. Always happy to recommend to others.

Setup is quick and simple and I’ve found that this saves time when compared to other platforms I’ve been involved in setting up for clients in the past.
One thing I’ve struggled with when using other similar tools, and I know clients have too, is that they promise the world in terms of support and guidance when they are selling to you, only to find out that unreality they are unhelpful and slow to respond to your needs. I’ve found Webtrends Optimize to be the complete opposite and very supportive, no matter the size of the client. This is really important to me as a PM as I need to get questions answered and issues resolved as quickly as I possibly can for my clients.
