Is easy to use and very intuitive software which allows us to keep track of all expenses, both personal and team. Would highly recommend this software for scanning receipts.
Sometimes error notifications can be confusing and a bit annoying. This is the case when a claimant changes the number of business miles but this is not necessarily a fault of WebExpenses it could be due to other factors.
Being able to process and approve claims from a mobile phone is really useful when travelling. This also enables my team to get expenses approved and be reimbursed quickly.
The fact you can complete expenses on the go thorugh the app is absolutely brilliant.

I wish it could save more familiar addresses even tho the 6 it does remember seems like alot but i travel up to 10 places or more that are the same everyday. Its alot to type in.

How easy and quick it is to submit an expense claim/receipt. How easy to the the website is to submit a mileage claim and edit using map view if take an alternative route. Easy to review and re submit claims as each claim has a number which are easy to find. Easy to contact somebody to get a new student added to my account so that i can make claims alongside their name
Not being able to save regular journeys for future use. I take the same jounrye each week so i have to enter this jounrye each week. Would be easier and quicker to beable to save these jounreys and given them a name. To e able to click the jounrey name to claim this.
Saves a lot of time and is very automated at my end. Easy to select from each drop down menu for each category. A lot easier than previously using Microsoft excel and having to save each receipt
Very easy to enter the postcodes visited to calculate your journey. Not having to measure each journey using the car mileometer and keeping a record of this. I can enter all the post codes along the jounrey and all the mileage is worked out straight away. I can see a map of this jounrye and if i took an alterntive route to this i can easily edit it to be the exact journey i took.
I like webexpenses because its easy to use and has all of the fields required to explain why I'm expensing something i paid for. It also has a great mobile app so I can send off my expenses on the go.
The only downside to webexpenses is that the website and app U.I. seem quite outdated but this doesn't really affect the experience and the app and website are still very intuitive.
It helps me to expense any travel costs i have to pay for when travelling to certain work events like when i have to travel to London instead of my usual Reading office. It benefits me because it means I get the money back quickly and smoothly and it's easy for my manager to approve my expense requests.
PROS: For an expense management tool, Webexpenses surprisingly gives room for play to its users. The design and layout are fairly simple, but I’ve been able to tweak some aspects of it to my preferences. It’s relatively easy (one can even say interesting) to get to know too. I was trained by my supervisor and I’ve also taken the time to read through the manuals--both methods have been really helpful.
CONS: I’m still in the process of getting to know this program. So far, nothing seems broken. I’d have to keep my eye out for any issues first.
PROS: We needed a program that would have the flexibility to adapt to our complex work processes and needs. So far, Webexpenses has been the only one to fit these specific criteria that we have set. We worked with their team to have everything set-up, and they were able to do so very efficiently. They didn’t charge us for the extra work too! I can tell that this is the start of a really fruitful partnership.
CONS: Onboarding a new account approver does have its issues. For example, there were still some unapproved claims in the former approver’s pipeline, but those did not transition to the dashboard of the new one. New tax and HMRC rates don’t get updated in real-time too.
