I love the way that Wave imports transactions from my business bank accounts and remembers what I categorize them as, so as time goes by, I am working smarter, not harder.

The only downside is having to chase down when bank reconciliations don't work: it's usually because something wasn't imported correctly, or I made a mistake in posting.

The problem Wave solves for me is that I can't afford a bookkeeper for my small business, but Wave does it for me.

My bookkeeper uses it mostly, but I love the reports it can generate. At a glance I can view the cash in my accounts and cashflow, P&L, Net Income, expense breakdown,payable and owing. I can generate a P&L, Cashflow,and balance sheet report.

I am not familiar with financial langiage, so unless you understand it or how to read financial statements, you may need soeone to help you get up to speed. I am not using many of the features because it either isnt applicable tor difficult to setup. I needed my bookeeper to set up my account and she likes working in it (her other clients use quickbooks) and the fact is free is great, but its very time consuming to enter the data and categorize things yourself.

i need to track my money, where its being spend, and the financial health of my company. incidentally I set it up for personal finance and its been great tracking that as well. I also needed to send invoices and it can be paid online with multiple options for payment which my clients love.

The ease of sending customers a invoice is awesome. Along with sending recurring payments is awesome!

The fees are little high as far as collecting the payments. Wish that could be brought down. Also sometimes the recurring payments don't go through for some clients and they become upset

It makes my life easier instead of making invoices every month and getting the checks by snail mail

My income taxes are basically done as we go on any taken day. If you got everything categorized your taxes are always done.

Unless you get an optional paid subscription services that many business don't even need you can not get any support not by email nor by Messenger or on the phone.

Wave is CRA-approved in Canada, it is built based on income tax regulations in Canada (if you choose your country as Canada). Takes the guesswork on what is or isn't tax deductible, GST, etc.

Wave is a wonderful online app that allows me to create and send invoices to clients, take payments, track expenses, and manage my business in an easy-to-use format.

It isn't easy to reach a real person on customer support; paid invoices take far too long to process, and the funds to reach my bank account.

The "all-in-one format" makes it much easier to keep up with the financial management of a small company. Keeping track of client payments is much eaier now.

It is so easy to create bills and automatically send them, duplicate past bills, and set automatic reminders. There are other offerings I don't currently take advantage of, but for what I use it for it's brilliant. I moved to Wave from Paypal because Paypal raised their prices without my being aware of it. Wave has reasonable pricing while focussing on a great billing system. I also love how they simplify legal language on the side of the original text when they have a change of terms.

I now use Wave for all of my billing.

Customer support has also been very friendly and helpful.

Sometimes the stats on the dashboard are confusing and more explanations could be helpful. Also, I don't like how discounts are handled: they show up as a 100% price income + partial return or something silly like that. It's really confusing, unnecessary, and messes with my stats. So I don't use the discount feature anymore but simply charge the lower price in my billing without the discount showing as such.

Also, I don't like that the invoice number shows in the reference line when sending, so I always delete that--but I'm happy it's deletable, so thank you Wave!

Wave is allowing me to bill my clients with ease and confidence, at a price that is better than other programs out there.

Very easy and practical to use, you dont have to have an accounting background to be able to use Wave. I found it really useful using it to invoice my clients and track payments, etc.

If you want to get into minor detaisl you may find it a little limiting.

Helps me keep trac of payments and bills, invoices in one system. Sends out reminders for peding payments. Helps me save a lot of time!

Wave automates complex accounting tasks from recurring billing, invoicing to AP and AR.

I use this tool on a daily basis and I hardly record errors when using it.

Wave allows me to pay vendors ahead of time while eradicating discrepancies via 2 and 3 way matching tools.

Good low cost option to keep your books and records. Invoicing and accepting payments goes smoothly.

No real dislikes, we just outgrew it as a company.
