Wave payroll is one of the best payroll and finance management software that I have used so far. It has a great user interface and it is very easy to use. It has almost all the features that any small to mid-sized company might need to manage its payroll and finances. The feature that I like the most is the automation and third-party integrations it offers.

Overall the software is great and I like using it. My company is based out of India because of which there are some parameters that need to be customized according to the country's financial laws and regulations, which becomes a little tricky because Wave apps and Wapyroll are designed keeping the US and Canada regions in mind because of which it doesn't meet all the requirements for India. But otherwise, it is perfect.

Way payroll is an accounting SaaS application which offers a lot of freemium features. We were using the complete Wave apps along with Wave Payroll to manage employee payrolls and company expenses.

How you can set up invoices to go out on a particular day and not worry about having to remember them later. Also, I love the recurring invoices.

Sometimes I feel that it gets hard to do a refund. It could be more specific.

When setting up accounts and invoices try to do it all in one sitting to not forget anyone.

Super easy to use and free. The Transactions section is great but could use some tweaking, the reports section is great for pulling PnL, profitability by customer, assigning customers to incoming payments, and charging customer credit cards.

I wish the transactions section would automatically remember the categories I assign that I've used before (ie: "Rent" for the same vendor each month). I wish they didn't charge credit card fees for processing cc payments, or a way to automatically add the charge it to the invoice.

Easy features for accounting, tracking expenses, and payroll all in one place. It is a easy to use, well designed web application that can easily integrate with external bank accounts and payment sources. Ability to add multiple "business" income streams is nice too!

The fees for processing are pretty comparable to other options, but it would be nice if it was less or if they have a payment plan for users who have smaller businesses and don't want to pay the monthly fees for credit card processing.

Wave makes payroll simple and easy to manage. Their support is great and they stay up to date with COVID grants, taxes, and basically make it so we don't have to think about it.

Wave gives employees direct access to their key documents, paystubs, etc. which is really important to the modern workforce. Printed tax receipts and stubs should be a relic of the past.

The week lead time needed to run payroll in the industry is constantly a sore spot. Sometimes things change, etc. and running an "emergency" extra payroll is difficult and time consuming.

Sometimes it is difficult to extract the exact info I am looking for. I also get double transactions in the transaction list for certain payments.

My staff appreciates the direct deposit, and I like that I can see the bills and payments to vendors all in one place! This is an affordable way for our small business to operate professionally and help us prepare to scale in the future.

I wish I could pay 1099 contractors in one step, like payroll, instead of two (creating a bill and then sending it to be processed as a payment with payroll) since this is how my vendors expect to be paid (bi-weekly). The connection between bills, payroll, and contractor payouts is not super intuitive, and I have to slow down and walk through the steps each week to be sure I have completed the flow correctly.

If you manage vendors, contractors, or a small staff, this is a simple yet robust payment interface that will help level up your business. Our contractors appreciate the direct deposit and that we keep a record (bill) of all of the hours we have accounted for in their payments. This is also a great way to prepare for tax season as the required documents are generated for you in the system.

We pay 1099 contractors bi-weekly and really appreciate the ability to use direct deposit for their payments. We also love that we will have end of year tax documents created for them so they have the assurance we are tracking their payments appropriately and professionally. This system formalizes our small business payments.

It is incredibly intuitive and very affordable. It also links with Wave accounting and Invoicing so for a Creative who hates dealing with the accounting/tax side of things, it's been a lifesaver. We switched after 15 of using QuickBooks and have not looked back.

I have yet to find any issues with the payroll side of things and it conforms nicely to all PA requirements. As long as your employees are ok with direct deposit (I don't think they offer physical check services) it's super easy to set up and go.

Working with ADP and Paychex in the past was costly and cumbersome. I love that after set up, it's incredibly easy to submit payroll. Total time saver.
