I like vTiger because is qute helpful to manage my clients and potential clients database
The best thing is that vTiger allows you to customize its modules and also create your very own ones
vTiger has enough features to take your CRM to requeriments you need, this includes:
*Following a sales funnel from the opportunity until the Invoicing process
*Capability to integrate easily with another platforms
*Print adn email templates where you can use the default ones or develop your own using advacing text editors or, if you are well skilled, in HTML using basic CSS you can get awesome templates.
*Backtrack: You can always know what your users do in each record
*Customer and employee portals: here you can allow to your clientes and also to your employees to have an external access to vTiger platform where you can control and manage what do they see there and they have the chance to create tickets or cases aswell.
*Chat support: Its easy to get support via chat without having to deal with an I.A. which in most cases are useless or not helpfull at all
From my experience there are few features which can actually be upgraded to another level:
*Print templates: It is right you can do awesome print templates using HTML and CSS, but it would be even better if it allowed you to use more advanced CSS features
*Changes in new features: Sometimes it happens when a new feature is deployed for testing purposes it has certain capabilities, these capabilities change without any notification when the feature its officially launched.
*More functions in print templates, workflows and process desginer: Nowindays you can take to another level your print templates using additional functions like sums, if, date functions, etc. But it would be helpful to have a "CASE" statement or several if's (which this feature exist only in workflows).
Clientes managment: Having all clients information in one place
Invoicing managment: Allowing us to know how much are we invoicing including the proyection for the future
email campaigns: Sending useful information to our clients and promotional emails
project managment: It allows us to control the project activities and performance
expenses managment: We created customized modules which allow us to manage the expenses related to the operation
Data analisys: We easily know important information using dashboards and customized chart reports
System integration: It allows us to control the items which are related to our operation and sending data from and to vTiger to our other platforms
Inventory managment: We have an asset managment where we can easily know how many devices have in the office and in operation, including if these devices are with client and its status
Its a friendly user CRM i use in managing accounts. Like, When I need to get the client details. Creating a proposals for clients. Also, extracting funnel reports gives a lot of convenience.
The only issue that I can see is. I have a difficulty in editing my proposals once I downloaded it, its already a PDF. I hope, theres an option to download it in Word, so I can edit necessary details.
Managing Accounts by having the centralized client's database. The easy way of getting a funnel Report. I don't need to update everyweek. Thru CRM its already updated and I only just have to extract it.

I would like an easy way to connect email to Vtiger as my main concern is losing control over the outgoing emails that can content confidential information.

Vtiger is a very good all-in-one CRM solution especially useful for small enterprises. It contains tools and features able to fully support all the important business activities. The fact that it is also easy to learn represents an additional positive aspect.
It took me more than expected to change the default currency to EUR and complete the initial setup. The menu system could be simplified or organized in a better way.
Vtiger simplifies the management of the sales pipeline and customer support needs. It helps keep track of all the negotiation phases, expected revenues and timeline.
I like how flexible Vtiger is when it comes to configuring different modules, I love how detailed reports can be when selecting different fields to obtain the information that you want.
Administrating and configuring can be a little overwhelming if you are not familiar with it, so I suggest reading the documentation before doing something, this will help you greatly.
Clients management, Quotes Management and marketing, are the modules that I am using now in my vtiger, soon I will be using services contracts and other modules as needed
The requirement to get a management system with all the Aftersales requirements ends with Vtiger. The platform has been prepared considering all the requirements of the customer.
As of now, we couldn't find any lacune of the platform. All queries are also addressed by the Vtiger marketing team. Any problem faced by the customer are addressed by the Vtiger team instantly.
Vtiger is useful in generating tickets, monitoring the ticket status, preparing a graph of the solved & unsolved tickets and the actions initiated to resolve the tickets are also captured.

vTiger all in one offers more features and modules and automation potential than most CRMs for a very reasonable price. It has allowed our business to grow in terms of leveraging more and more capability as we need it. The common user interface accross all modules makes it very easy to provision and train new users.
Some very powerful features like mass editing a batch of records have limits of 500 records to act upon. Creating work arounds for that is a required. But, considering some systems of equal price don't have featured like mass edit, we are hopeful that this imitation will be improved.
A mobile application is included with the subscription to the full web-client. The calendaring doesn't have all the features as the web client. Here again, not all systems include mobile versions, so we are happy vTiger all in one has one, and hopeful that the feature set of the mobile app. will continue to be improved.
Make sure to spend adequate time to review the broad module and feature set before considering customizing the system at all, because usually there is a system based feature already to accomplish what you may seek.

Quoting, Billing, Inventory control, asset tracking, marketing campaigns, equipment service histories, and customer contracts and service related documentation. Vendor information and purchasing, receipts and payments are utilized. Accounts Receivable and cash receipts are performed.
We solved prior problems of lack of integration between customer information and calendaring. We also solved prior problems of not having adequate inventory and services database support for the billing process. It was refreshing to overcome the need for importing and exporting prospect and customer data in and out of email marketing system by having it all included behind one common user interface.
Tracking multiple calendars for field service was difficult until we implemented the built in calendaring system.
We have saved time related to customer response and interaction accross the entire relationship spectrum, from tracking custom site information to automated quote generation to automated invoice generation.
I really enjoy VTiger's modular and flexible design. It's very easy to customize for any situation. The workflows, API, custom modules and fields are invaluable.
There are some minor features that we've decided to use alternative platforms for. Their internal documentation system is not that strong. VTiger handles data and relationships extremely well but I wish that had a better internal documentation system.
We use VTiger for customer service, tracking internal devices, billing, marketing, the sales process and much more. We use it for everything.
