Vmware Tanzu Observability (Now Vmware Aria Operations for Applications) helps a lot on our operational cloud operations by providing insights. Before using this application, we have such a hard time to track root cause analysis on our cloud operations. Thanks for great support Vmware team.

Except the price which is fair for enterprise not for medium size business like us, it is ofcourse the greatest ops monitoring tool and was worth to invest.

Lack of visibility on what happening in operations and tracking root cause when issue happen until we found this awesome tool. Now we have no more worry with these headache issues.

The best part of the vRealize is its compatibility with Multiple End Points and the user-friendly canvas to create blueprints. The recent release now supports not just Java Script, it all support ABX Actions and various other code. The microservice architecture is simple and quicker than the windows based vRealize Automation.

The support for Alibaba and other public cloud end point is a work in progress. The out of the box Terraform is still at nascent stage and needs more work before we can call this a pipeline tool.

I recommend vRealize Suite to anyone looking for CMP of Pipeline

We have solved issues related to VM Provisioning, Monitoring our SDDC, Logging our NSX layer. We have used vRealize Automation as the CMP to integrate with vSpehere, AWS, Azure and GCP. With this it works in a single pane of glass model.

I find the most value in the additional data/metrics it is able to provide when running multiple VMs that span across multiple datacenters vs using vSphere alone.

The interface can take some time to get use to at first. It took me a while to really fine tune the alerting so that alerts reported correctly, and ignore the machines that didn't require alerts such as our dev environment. Also, adding customized scripts as actions in response to alerts was something that I found to be challenging.

Automatic reporting, alerting and some response for VM's in our virtual world. Having the ability to provide accurate, easy to read reports to validate the need for additional resources if needed, and also forecast expected growth over time.

Centralization of all monitoring activities across public and private cloud infrastructure is a truly valuable for IT infrastructure administrators

there in no particular thing i didn't like about the product however if it was possible to customize the monitoring dashboards in an easier way will be truly useful

if you are looking for a central monitoring tool for keeping up with what's going on on your hybrid cloud VMware on premises and maybe AWS as a cloud provider this tool is truly useful

monitoring across public and private cloud is made really easy specially in days where hybrid cloud presents a great value for large organizations.
