As a long-time Vonage customer, I’ve found the system and software to be robust and reliable, which is why I’m still a customer. The platform’s capabilities have been integral to my business operations, and the product itself is commendable.

However, my experience with Vonage’s customer service has been severely disappointing, to the point of harming my business. Over the past few months, I have encountered numerous issues with SMS registration and have been met with delays, miscommunication, and a general lack of urgency from the majority of the support team. The company has consistently failed to honor pricing agreements and hardware commitments, leaving me feeling like just another cog in the wheel rather than a valued customer.

That said, James Ransom is the one exception in this otherwise frustrating experience. When the issue finally landed on his desk, he addressed it with the speed and professionalism that should be the standard for the entire company. His timely support stands in stark contrast to the subpar service I received from others.

While I highly recommend the Vonage system itself, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend their customer service. The product is excellent, but the support leaves much to be desired. If you do find yourself needing help, I hope you get someone like James—because otherwise, you might be left waiting, like I was, with serious business implications.

Helping Small Businesses Start Up for a Good Cause
My Rep: Haroun Songoro - was absolutely the best. I first came to the website Vonage because I used their service as a consumer many years ago.. But. Now, I'm starting a small business to help bridge the gap between our older generation and technology. A lot of our older folks are missing out on reaching family members and staying in touch with friends. Because they are not comfortable with using the new technology. So I'm helping them out.. They nurtured us as kids and now it's our time to give back to them. Mr. Haroun was so helpful with the questions that I had about getting a company phone system setup. I will be recommending Vonage and Mr. Haron when I come across someone who needs phone service in their home or office. Thank you. Vonage & Mr. Haroun, for your services.
