We use this tool for marketing. The text is prepared by our team and the audio is created using Voicely. We use it for various marketing activities.

The software does one of the best AI voice clones out there. it is closest to a natural-sounding voice. This too at a price of one-time price of 69$. It is easy to use. We use it a lot for marketing purposes.

There is nothing negative about Voicely but if the sound improves more it will only help.

The marketing team uses it for marketing videos mainly. Reduces the time to production.

I can use VOICELY to create spectacular narrations for different accents. And for sales videos, trainings and tutorials.

when you make changes to your text with gaps, phonetic grammar text to help you pronounce a word how you want it doesn't update by itself in the text field when you press play. You must update by clicking the "generate TTS" button. But... it also makes sense. It needs an update to know you've changed something, and the program needs to know to make the change. (takes just a few seconds to update)

Easy to understand interface, With simple Text a AI generated voice can be created

Settings are complicated sometimes, may become a bit messy when converting long text.

It saves time by turning any long text or scripts on our website into voice/spoken word. It allows us to cater to all communities and integrates pretty seamlessly with our website software and builder.

Some of the voices are really natural but others sound very robotic

The UI is relatively simple and straightforward. They have a large amount of voice and accent choices to choose from. There are a few of the voices that are actually very good simulations and sound natural.

Many of the voices sound robotic and synthetic (but as I mentioned above there are a few excellent ones). My biggest 'dislike' is the lack of general timing customization. It does have some...you can adjust speed and even tone which is good and you can add specific timed paused, but it would be much better if you could completely (picture dragging on a timeline) control timing.

If you need a stand alone Text to Voice platform this is worth checking out. I personally think this industry/field in general still needs some growth and advancement, but as far as what's out there in my experience this is as good as any.

I have a number of programs with built-in text to voice already, so I don't use this that often. However, I do occasionally use it when my project is unique or outside the scope of those. All in all it suits me well for those unique use cases.
