Users appreciate its ease of use, intuitive interface, and reliable alerts. However, some drawbacks include a limited free tier, occasional false positives, and challenges monitoring complex websites. It helps me be alerts on site changes easily.
Free version is very limited. Understandable but wish there was more functionality.
I monitor a site and this tool alerts me of changes.
Quick aalerts and a verity of ways to detect changes.
Occasional false positives can be frustrating.
Visualping gives me alerts when pages change so I'm never finding out too late.
Like the fact that I don't need to track for changes and visualping automatically notifies me when i need to look
Sometimes system crashes and there is a timeout error or it workflow doesn't run properly and I get false update notification
Daily spending precious time going on tracking websites putting information and monitoring changes. Easily saves an hour of work
I like using this software to keep me informed without me having to remember to check a website. An example is when a website posts new dates or availability for an event/activity - I want to be informed ASAP in case I need to sign up before things get booked up. So, it's especially handy for staying the most-up-to-date without having to remember to check a page manually when you don't know when the business will update the information on their page!
There is a limit to number of notifications, but the free version is pretty generous and sufficient to my needs!
No way am I going to check a website everyday. Visualping does all the work for me automatically.
It's great at sending me an email any time a website changes, whether that's an item coming into stock at a store or a job posting getting added to a careers page.
I wish it was a bit easier to filter out false positives (for example when a page is in an error state), but maybe they support that and I just haven't dug in yet.
It solves the basic problem of knowing when a website changed, but that can be useful for many things. I've used it in the past to monitor when an employer added new job postings to their careers page.
What I like the most about Visualping is that it is really easy to set it up and works flawlessly. So far, I never had any issues and I'd definitely reccomend it.
For my use case, it worked perfectly doing exactly what it was supposed to do. So far, there is nothing I dislike about it.
I am using it to monitor external sites to see if there is any change that would affect my own site.
I dont need to constantly go back and navigate the same websites to look for updates. It is particularly hepful when you get updates on time sensive matters, like a deadline for a permit or a submission.
I would like to see stats of what other users look for.
Saves me a lot of time and ensures I dont miss out on any updates
As a new, small business owner I find it very easy to use Visualping and it is very user friendly. I've started using it for monitoring my competitors or other folks in my industry to see the frequency of content they post and the alerts from VP help me stay current on this.
None so far to be honest as it does what its intended and supposed to do.
I no longer have to go back and forth to check competitor social media accounts for new content or spend too much time scrolling through social media in general to find information I need on those I follow.
Visualping is easy to use and has many ways of implementing CI and website tracking and integrating reporting into your current into your current workflows. Customer support is responsive and it's something I'm continually finding more frequent uses for. I've been able to sunset dozens of manual scripts through the use of their tools.
Setup of a new service always takes time, but with Visualping it will be a few easy minutes of configuration.

Visual ping is easy to use and provides many configuration options to allow you to curate your monitoring based on your needs. I've used the tool for years to monitor for breaking updates, new developments, and even to monitor mod packs that are planned for the future that would require twitter, reddit, discord etc. accounts and push notifications if I wasn't able to monitor the source of the updates directly.
I can't remember a time where I was disappointed by the tool. It always works well for my basic needs.
Near-real-time updates on critical updates and developments with no codebase to manage, no service to run locally, and provides configuration to ensure timeliness and delivery to the right stakeholders who can take action.
