Web GUI is VERY easy to use. Practically there is no need in manual.

Lack of support for Linux KVM. Inability to update from shell on V6.

We have migrated dozens of Linux and Windows VM from RHEL 4.3 virtualization cluster to VMWare ESXi 8.x cluster. It only took a few hours but saved our company weeks of labour.

It covery everything you want to do backup. It was very easy to implementing by few click for the installation. It using linux thus you can almost forget the extra window license like other backup software. Additional under linux platform, you may also ignore the window update where may cause the server reboot and missing the backup. Most importance is it have ransomware protection to protect the backup data under the hood so you can almost forget the additional ransomware antivirus for backup server. It also very easy to integrate for majority of the Hypervisor platform like VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, Cirtix, Sangfor, openstack and etc. The customer support also very supportive and helpful.

Missing replilcation feature. If this feature can be in place, then this will be the most perfect backup & recovery software.

When doing planing for backup and restore in disaster recovery(DR) datacenter, normally we need to plan the same hypervisor platform need to be in place for the restoration purpose. Now with Vinchin cross platform, we can plan to using difference hypervisor platform for DR sites which will help to reduce the DR cost. With this feature, we also can do migration from one hypervisor platform to other hypervisor platform. Thus Vinchin help users "open" the lock of the hypervisor platform just like other open platform like OpenWiFi, OpenNetworking and etc.

The backup performance and Ease of Use and trusted backup solutions.And also cover must of the hypervisor and backup can be done different location like cloud, Tape, internal storage and future update of the software.

Seems to be none for the currently solution.

Currently, the vinchin taking backup of all our critical server and gives us the peace of mind if incase any issue came in the live system. We can restore with the backup.

Rock solid, simple to user, good pricing, support really reactive, easy to setup (virtually od phisically). All the backup feature, archiving, cloud backup, deduplication and now also Files Server and DB backup!

If i really want to find a weakness? some new advanced feature for VMWare still not available on XCP-ng platform (like VM verification lab)

Efficient and stable backup process for my XCP-ng and XEN installations

One of my favourite and excellent backup solutions for Windows Server, VMWare and Cloud backup. They have good staff to set up in your infrastructure and it's easy to deployments with given documents.

I don't have anything to dislike about this product. Good working for my organziation needs.

It's helping us to use backup and restore data of our Windows, VMWare and Cloud server backup

The setup was dead simple. install the VM, connect an external USB Drive, connect to my Vcenter and Hyper-V servers and go. It found all the VM's suggest a rotation schedule for full and incremental backups and I clicked save.

there are some limitations like not being able to use your own certificate so you have to accept the self-signed one. I'm sure they will fix this one.

Easily backup the VM's on my ESXi and Hyper-V servers.
