viEval Reviews

ViEval takes very little training to wrap your mind around the program. Once you've gone through your basic training, it is easy and intuitive to navigate. This program is very customizable and has made setting up and managing the annual review process very convenient. Ashley, the senior application specialist we work with, is highly responsive and always goes out of her way to ensure our timelines and goals are met. We are glad to have upgraded our system to the new ViWave platform - absolutely worth it!

We've encountered some problems with using the platform on the Microsoft Edge browser. While I understand it works best on Chrome, and am happy to use Chrome. Some of the less technically inclined folks at the firm struggled with understanding why it wasn't working on their end. We had to explain to them what a browser is and hand-hold while they downloaded Chrome and figured it out. Certainly not a significant issue, but it did add some time and frustration to the overall process for some folks.

viEval has been very helpful with gathering feedback on candidates that we are recruiting as well as information on performance on projects for summer associates. The evaluation link is automated and sent through email and all of the evaluations are housed in one place so recruiting representatives can access them quickly. We also use it for mentor intake forms in order to help us match partner mentors with associates.

No dislikes that I can think of right now.

viEval helps us to gather feedback and be able to reference it when needed. This saves us time when making hiring decisions or evaluating performance.

I like everything about viEval, but my favorite feature is the reporting feature and being able to provide summaries of all evaluations received for each person. John Shin has been an excellent support for us since purchasing the software. He is always so helpful.

There is nothing I dislike. Nothing is missing.

viEval makes our evaluation processes much easier than when we had no software and had to do everything manually.

I like the quarterly updates with added features and functionality. We have a dedicated application specialist who is familiar with our company and processes and is great with answering questions and responding quickly when we need help.

Our groups are complicated, so it will take quite a bit of time to automate adding employees to all of the groups they should belong to, so for now, it is a manual process to add employees to groups.

Performance management and surveys firmwide

Evaluations and surveys -- the product does exactly what it needs to do very well.

The product can be overwhelming to new users or administrators, but the support is quick and always expert-level.

Quick turnaround on simple projects. Invest some more time and projects with any degree of complexity can be implemented well.

Easy to use and manipulate between platforms. Appreciate being able to post jobs easily to the firm website. We use Recruit and Performance Management. Comparison to previous platform is night and day and has made my life easier. Training has been awesome!

Remembering where to go to turn on a function. Can't think of anything that doesn't work for us right now. Cannot think of any improvements right now.

The training we have received has been outstanding. One of the reasons we switched to VI was in part due to the lack of training that made sense for those that are not so tech savvy. Our training has been wonderful to work and has made our transition seamless.

Real-time evaluations have been a blessing. Not having to print stacks of evaluations that are outdated once printed has been a blessing. This frees up alot of time on the backend.

viEval offers many customization options. My rep is always extremely helpful and offers creative solutions to evaluation problems or suggests improved processes.

Although it is now user-friendly, there is a learning curve. The complete capabilities of the product are not known right away.

We are streamlining the Associate review process. viEval makes it easy for our IT team to create specific reports for the process.

I like how it automates the review process. There is also a high level of support to set up and use the product, which is needed since we are using only once a year.

I have not been satisfied with the viWave product, the upgraded product. It seems like some of the functionalities in viEval were not incorporateed into the initial viWave development. It seems like viGlobal is continuing to develop this so it may get there in time.

Eliminated all the paper involved with the year end review process. Saved attorney time.

I like that viEval is supported by a team that understands how the layers work at law firms. The setup is what I need, within the time constraints I require. Very thankful to the viEval team.

With any implementation, there are hiccups. We had a few during our initial rollout. They were identified and solved very quickly. I appreciate the attention to the issues.

We are looking to save time and energy during our review process. Before viEval we did not have a smooth flow of information. The information is now housed in one place and is available to those that need it.
