What do you like best about VenueOps?

This program is very user friendly. I have used other programs in the past that made you fill out irrelevant things. This program does not. It can be very customizable when given the time to work with the company. Very helpful for having different types of information in one place. Also love that I can request a custom "calendar"/list to send out to appropriate staff.

What do you dislike about VenueOps?

I really cannot say I dislike anything. I guess the only thing I "dislike" is how slow the program can run at times as it is internet based.

What problems is VenueOps solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our event staff is able to see calendars, notes and other types of information that was put in.

What do you like best about VenueOps?

The best thing about VenueOps is its sleek, clean, and modern feel. The program feels like it is current, which some of its competitors have difficulty doing. I've used other event management and booking programs in a previous venue, and both of those programs had good functionality but look overburdened with data and outdated.

What do you dislike about VenueOps?

It is missing some of the functionality and customization that I was accustomed to with previous event management and booking software I have used in other venues. It would be nice if some tweaks occurred to allow venues more internal decisions about form titles, details they'd like to pull, how to easily move and change data for price lists, etc.

Recommendations to others considering VenueOps:

I would definitely weigh this software against other industry competitors heavily. This one is sleek, modern, and easy to use but lacks some of the functionality that the heavier and more dated-looking programs have. It may come down to several demos and a lot of Q&A to determine what would better suit your team and venue.

What problems is VenueOps solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have worked through some issues with their staff that have been beneficial. They assisted us with creating a new form template that is titled Estimate instead of Invoice but contains the same information to assist us with the needs of clients who have to obtain specific wording for their purchasing and accounting processes. These tweaks on VenueOps part have been very helpful, but it would be nice to let users take care of some simple things themselves or have these basic available from the get-go instead of having to work closely on such a small customization process.
