Easy onboarding and intuitive dashboard for me and my team to use to get things done, love the template options for documents and policies and the monitoring feature with integrations is great.

Really haven't found anything major at this point. Some of the items for SOC 2 were not applicable for my company so would have been nice to know what was not needed so I could skip over them.

Vanta is helping my company get ready for and complete our SOC 2 Audit, we also use them to maintain our SOC2 status. By integrating with our current systems and having a turnkey solution it is making the process very straightforward.

It is very easy to use, you can take control of all security aspects and it also has many integrations.

There are few things that can be improved, maybe there could be an application for the cell phone and be able to review it on the go

Ease of use and real-time updating of our security posture. Everything in one location makes it easier for our internal and external clients to see how we are doing.

The only downside we have seen has to do with the costs and ROI. While it is worth it to use Vanta, it can take 6 to 12 months to see a return on investment, and that may be a bit long for some organizations.

The main problem that Vanta is helping us with is streamlining the SOC 2 and ISO audit processes. The additional added benefit is that it also provides additional visibility into our InfoSec posture.

Vanta automatically tracks compliance with many controls in cloud environments. They also respond to enhancement requests and deliver.

Minor point. Originally, lack of agent monitoring support for windows servers. This has been addressed however.

Sign up well in advance of your SOC2 date to get up to speed. Vanta uncovers a lot of items that don't seem obvious and improve security tremendously.

Tracking all SOC2, ISO27001, and HIPAA controls. Vanta has also greatly improved overall security posture and eased the paperwork burden.

Vanta helped us structure and understand the SOC2 requirements. It turned out to be a well-organized security project management platform. It was easy to work on missing pieces and cooperate with the auditors.

Vanta's platform is incredibly clean and intuitive, making it easy for our team to navigate and understand the compliance process. Pre-populated templates and automated workflows took the manual grunt work out of evidence collection and documentation, saving us countless hours.

Seamless integrations with our existing cloud tools like AWS and Google Workspace saved us the hassle of juggling multiple platforms. Data automatically flowed into Vanta, further streamlining the process.

Vanta's platform goes beyond simple compliance management. They actively monitored our environment for potential security risks and provided timely alerts and actionable insights. This proactive approach gave us peace of mind and increased our security posture.

Vanta needs to think of integrating more tools, such as automated vulnerability scans, into the platform.

Vanta streamlined the process of obtaining SOC2 certification for us. As a small company, it was a challenge because we couldn't dedicate a part of our team to work exclusively on this security project. With Vanta, it was easy to switch between projects without losing context.

Vanta makes it easy for us to get on the right track when striving to comply with various standards and legislation.

While an excellent platform, Vanta does change quite a bit often so you have to learn and adapt while you are using it.

Vanta makes it easy for us to maintain an active inventory of endpoints and infrastructure. Furthermore, managing vendors becomes easy with Vanta. And lastly, Vanta keeps us on the right track when it comes to compliance.

It's a very easy way to get from 0-60 in as little time as possible. We are going for our ISO 27001 certification, and their system will cut the time to get the certification in half.

In addition, in the past I have managed ISO and SOC certifications. Vanta costs a fraction of what it would cost to hire a consultant to do the work. I was considering spending ~$!00k, whereas Vanta came in at a fraction of that estimate.

They were also very flexible on pricing and opt-out rights--which we never exercised

It's taken a little more time than I would like to get up and running. Vanta's onboarding and implementation process could be improved.

Getting our ISO certification, answering security questionnaires from prospective clients, managing vendors and risk reporting.

Vanta keeps the client organization on target and organized. Vanta is best used with a project manager to keep the company focused and on target. Vanta uses a 1st level manager for the initial training and compliance issues. Vanta uses a 2nd level manager to complete the project. Vanta will also recommend various auditors but will not allow your company to undergo the audit until the company is ready. The company can interview the auditor candidates and make the final selection of the auditor. Be aware that after the first Type1/2 audit is complete, the company can always change auditors. Vanta did prepare us for the audit and made the audit as minimally painful as possible. Obviously, for the first audit, there may be considerable anxiety, but the Vanta staff did give us the confidence to make it through the audit successfully.

Vanta is a well-oiled machine. I have nothing that I dislike about Vanta.

Vanta kept my company organized and focused on obtaining SOC2 audit.
