Upsides: We can segment out users who fit our demographics, users talk through why they like or do not like something, it is EASY to use.

What do you dislike about UserZoom (Now part of UserTesting)?

Sometimes people close out before finishing the survey and we do not get valuable information from the user and pay for it.

What problems is UserZoom (Now part of UserTesting) solving and how is that benefiting you?

They help us test our design before we build our design with an audience that fit our demographics! That's amazing!

What do you like best about UserZoom (Now part of UserTesting)?

After researching many different usability platforms, I went with UserZoom because it was affordable and had the basic moderated and unmoderated tools I needed. I also knew I could get access to additional tools as my research needs and team grew. It allows you to record, flag/tag specific parts in the session, and create and share clips with my team and stakeholders. This tool has enabled me to introduce UX research backed by user data to my company and our product. The customer support team is also accommodating and responds quickly when needed.

What do you dislike about UserZoom (Now part of UserTesting)?

There is not much I dislike about the platform since it's easy to use and has helped me bring my research to the next level. The one thing that would improve my experience is if they could include branching logic in their screener questions.

UserZoom has been an essential tool allowing us to test our product and new features before building them. This has resulted in building the right thing from the beginning and saving dev time.

What do you like best about UserZoom (Now part of UserTesting)?

The most helpful thing about UserZoom Go is it removes the burden of sourcing user test subjects, rewarding them and providing videos of the test results. Your company can attach a credit card to the account, removing any negotiating about test budgets per test.

What do you dislike about UserZoom (Now part of UserTesting)?

The only things I "dislike" about UserZoom Go are the yearly fee and the limit of 40 tests per year for the lowest subscription bracket. It could also be easier to add more tests to a test already running - I have to email customer support to do this.

What problems is UserZoom (Now part of UserTesting) solving and how is that benefiting you?

UserZoom Go helps us to validate products, particularly with new users. It can be tough to recruit users who don't know anything about your product, and UserZoom makes this easy.

UserZoom is most helpful in that the tests are incredibly easy to write and I know that their panel is full of quality testers to choose from.

What do you dislike about UserZoom (Now part of UserTesting)?

I really don't have a downside to UserZoom at all. Everything is incredibly user friendly.

UserZoom has helped me with knowing how to word certain aspects of our program, how to present pricing, and if the general public will find our program helpful.

What do you like best about UserZoom (Now part of UserTesting)?

Being able to save quotes within the transcript as clips and notes! That capability makes life easier especially as a researcher reviewing multiple videos/interviews.

What do you dislike about UserZoom (Now part of UserTesting)?

During some tests, it's hard to find users to complete studies. I do understand it's because of the screeners we put in place but it would be helpful to complete all studies regardless of the screener.

Recommendations to others considering UserZoom (Now part of UserTesting):

Definitely use the support that is given, they are very helpful.

What problems is UserZoom (Now part of UserTesting) solving and how is that benefiting you?

A few problems I'm able to solve by using UserZoom are quick user testing, validation of designs and theories, and finding the general population audience without having to look too far out.

What do you like best about UserZoom (Now part of UserTesting)?

UserZoom gives you access to everything you need to collect lots of invaluable user research quickly. For example, with UserZoom you can get enough participants to run quantitative benchmarking usability studies quickly, transcriptions of participant comments in qualitative studies, every kind of user study you might need (e.g., card sort, regular survey, intercept survey), usability testing on live sites/apps or prototypes, and a VERY responsive support staff.

What do you dislike about UserZoom (Now part of UserTesting)?

Like with any powerful tool, I can think of some things I'd like to see improved. However, UserZoom keeps making excellent improvements & they make it easy to share your improvement ideas & vote on ideas from others.

What problems is UserZoom (Now part of UserTesting) solving and how is that benefiting you?

We determine which layouts, navigational schemas, images, and content are the best via user studies with UserZoom. With UserZoom, we can collect behavioral metrics related to user success, something you can't get from web analytics or voice of the customer surveys.

UserZoom has allowed coworkers who had never conducted user research to learn the value & fun of doing user studies. In addition, since we've been using UserZoom, we've gained more respect from business owners who appreciate our evidence-based design decisions.

What do you like best?

User zoom is a fantastic product for conducting user research and usability testing. It allows you to easily create A/B tests with mockups and get detailed feedback from large groups of users prior to development.

What do you dislike?

There isnt much that I dislike about this tool. It is always nice to interact with users face to face so I suppose that element is missing, but that isnt the nature of this product.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

User zoom allows us to gather data from users without much time and effort so it allows our research team to focus on other things and be more efficient.

What do you like best about UserZoom (Now part of UserTesting)?

I work for a startup, and while we had a number of choices for user testing, UserZoom was the most affordable and flexible option. We're able to run unmoderated tests for all our products as well as record and coordinate user interviews. The ability to speed up video playback and create clips is crucial for telling our user's story.

What do you dislike about UserZoom (Now part of UserTesting)?

UserZoom Go is lightweight, so it doesn't include some of the fancier features like transcription for the base cost. I also wish it were easier to add additional users to an ongoing study without contacting support directly.

What problems is UserZoom (Now part of UserTesting) solving and how is that benefiting you?

UserZoom Go allows us to launch studies on demand. The flexible script writing lets us grab insights within a day and then dive deeper over the week as we review videos. This is crucial to our start-up timetable.

What do you like best about UserZoom (Now part of UserTesting)?

I like the ease of use of the system. The fact it only takes a day to set a test up, launch it and watch all the video's is just so nice.

Also with the onboarding, they helped me set up it up just right for us.

What do you dislike about UserZoom (Now part of UserTesting)?

Sometimes the automated system doesn't do it's job well. This make it so that a test can fail. This happens maybe 1 out of 10 times and usually is refundable if the need arises.

We need to get close to the users and launch our games as soon as possible. If we can get insights on how potential users would play our game, this helps immensely on the launching features without doubts and improved.
