Full featured monitoring tool

We’ve been using UptimeRobot to monitor our websites, and it’s been a reliable and handy tool.

I’d recommend UptimeRobot because it offers a wide range of features that work for everything from simple page monitoring to more advanced setups. For example, we use it to run a webhook that triggers cron jobs for a Drupal site we manage, and it works great.

Recently, UptimeRobot started encouraging non-profits to apply for sponsored subscriptions, which is a great initiative. With this, you can access premium features like custom HTTP headers and request bodies—very helpful for monitoring sites behind firewalls or protected by something like Cloudflare Access.

As a non-profit, we really appreciate their generous free plan, which covers most of our needs and makes website monitoring much easier.

Uptime Robot has been a fantastic service to use! It's incredibly easy to set up and navigate, making monitoring my website's uptime a breeze. Straight-forward website monitoring for cheap.

Uptimerobot made it *really* easy to get started monitoring the uptime of our websites, which gave us useful metrics as to our own uptime, but also metrics we could compare against our MSPs metrics. This makes it very easy to keep tabs on our MSPs and ensure that they're not simply telling us what we want to hear.

In addition, having a central place we can use to keep tabs on certificate and domain expiration has made keeping track of upcoming deadlines for these much easier.

Highly recommend!
