What I like most about upshift is how quickly the fulfill my job postings.

My advice will be to others thats considering Upshift is just do the reshearch. Upshift has the most sucess rate as far as getting your jobs filled with quality workers.

A lot of the Upshifters are all the same people from the other Temp agencies. However, if you have a good relationship with them, they will know your needs better. Especially if you communicate well with them.
I recommend getting to know your Upshift rep well. Form a good relationship with them. Do not let any of the issues slide, make sure you let your Rep know so they can act on the issue.
Upshift is different from the other Temp Agencies because the reps are very personable and easy to form a good relationship with. They act fast when there are any no shows or issues with any of the Upshifters. They are quick to form a great Temporary team for your business. They are also caring and undertand the food industry.
The platform is very user friendly, and the client support team is always available to assist. It is very helpful to be able to choose which staff are working our events, instead of other sites that just assign random staff.
It would be helpful to be able to adjust shift times in less then 24 hours, and to extend a shift time while it is in progress in order to allow staff to punch accurately if the event runs late
Be sure to build your favorites in order to keep track of the staff that you want to return to your location
We have a constant lack of staff & bartenders - we cannot run our business without customer friendly, positive go-getters and upshift helps us fill in the numerous gaps in our event schedules
Art Villegas' can do, jump in, i'll make it happen mentality, Several times i questioned if we could make things happen and Art would always be positive and say let me handle that for you, or would state that he knows what its like and always tried to be the perfect compliment to what we need at the right time. He has a knack for delivering every time!
Not a single thing comes to mind! they always nail it!

Staffing Holes and broad geographical catering events created several issues for the region and our contracted account, daily callouts almost crippled our ability to perform basic contractual obligations.
We like the versatility of using Upshift. It is user friendly for our managers to pull any type of shift at any length and get these folks in here.
I don't personally disline anything about Upshift.
Our business model is event based; this can pose a challenge sometimes regarding hiring staff internally. Upshift has been a great addition to our team providing additional support staff for our events. I believe Upshift sends better quality candidates vs other temp agencies. Zach T has been great every step of the way with anything that we need.
How easy it is to use, the quality of people who work for us, how simple it was to set up an account and post jobs last minute, it's one of the best ideas I've seen for recruitment in a very long time! We use it for last minute events and we've never been disappointed. The support given to us from our Upshift team is quick, knowledgable and proficient.

Upshift is responsive to questions, corrections and needs at all hours. I appreciated some of the seminars/presentations they have done regarding retention of people, for example (based on their own research and surveys of Upshifters).
We have had some trouble with new Upshifters. It can be a coin flip to bring in someone who has no previous shifts worked. They tend to cancel on us far more often than veterans do. This can be a Catch-22, because new workers don't become reliable veterans if no one gives them a chance.
Upshift is great both for short-term/single-shift help and for temp-to-hire. Be as detailed as you can be (and accurate, of course) in your description of the work, the location/how to get into the building, the dress code, etc. Driving directions and a facility map can be helpful as well. If you post your upcoming shifts on a consistent schedule (I tend to post on Thursday nights for the following week) you will have more success getting repeat Upshifters who you like.
We see a consistently high-quality pool of associates, including people with relevant experience. Some already have full-time work and are simply supplementing their income on occasion. Others have worked their way into full-time positions with us. On occassion, we have seen a quick hit of 2-3 associate call-offs among our full-time crew and I have been able to post a shift to Upshift and fill it within a couple of hours - sometimes even faster.
