It would be great if the contract module data was available for Adhoc reporting.

Prior to Unanet our PMs would have to wait until month-end closeout to see the financial state of their projects, with Unanet GovCon the moment time is entered on a timesheet the project is updated

Unanet GovCon is very intuitive and user friendly. Everything is organized well, and easy to find. Reports are customizable, and can be exported to Excel. There's a feature to create contract alerts that can be automatically generated and sent to email. We're able to approve AR & AP invoices and PO's in the system, and Unanet can send approvers emails when they have an invoice in their queue for approval. Users are also able to open Unanet in multiple browser tabs, making it easy to toggle between tasks. There is a "Unanet University" with online self directed learning and live webinars that teach various functions of Unanet. The customer support is fantastic.

We haven't found a way to combine actuals YTD with plans going forward on one report with accuracy. Either the actuals will display correctly, or the plans will, but not both on one report.

The many variations of set up make Unanet GovCon nearly 100% custom to our needs. Our contracts are incredibly unique and have a LOT of different requirements, deliverables, and administrative processing methods. I can't imagine there is another system out there that can do everything we need it to do like Unanet GovCon does. There's just no way.

The only thing that I could consider a downside, is the initial setup. However, 1). Unanet representatives did nearly all of it. 2). Even being a company with revenue >$200m, We were in a poor position when we came to Unanet, using spreadsheets and various other microsoft, adobe, etc. products for literally everything. We couldn't necessarily export data from one system to import to the new. 3). As you can see, none of that has a downside of which Unanet GovCon could be responsible for.

Unanet GovCon has eliminated a grave level of risk that we were combating on a regular basis, just for our general business operations. We all know when general business operations are being showered with risks, it's only a matter of time before the rest becomes flooded.

Punctual response and feedback makes learning the system easy and straight-forward. Great response time. The employess follow up with written guidance via email. I am always greeted with a smile and eagerness to share.

The system is somewhat tricky to navigate. Especially when attempting to post corrections to time that has closed. Rememebering the various steps can be somewhat difficult.

Our company uses Unanet as the primary accounting system and time management portal. It helps to track our revenue and employees timesheet for payroll. Contract management is simplified using the system.

One of the best things about Unanet is truly the community they have created between customers and CSM. I know that if I ever have any issues I can reach out and have a quick answer!

This issue has been addressed, but the learning capabilities for help in unanet are not great. There are times when the info provided in UU is outdated.

Unanet is helping us to more easily manage projects. It is also helping with all the financial, especially month end.

The Contract/Projects portion of Unanet is very helpful to our company. The many layers that allows us to grow and continue to add as we continue to grow.

The inability to make changes after an item is posted makes for a messy GL history.

Having the ability to use the Contracts portion of Unanet to track our porjects, MODS and contract clauses. As we grow adn begin to win Prime contracts, we will be able to have our subs enter their monthly charges directly into our system for more up to date costs tracking.

Overall, I feel that Unanet is a very user-friendly GovCon accounting system. As a system administrator with minimal software backend experience, I found the setup and implementation of the software to be easy. My user experience has been positive, and I can quickly provide the data needed to my leadership team. I can assist my employees with their questions related to timesheets with minimal research.

One of my complaints about Unanet GovCon is that all the reports can not be easily exported into excel. I want the ability to do this with all reports. Another issue I have is the inability to drill down from financial reports. I would like to be able to see the detail of an account balance without having to run a separate general ledger detail report.

Unanet allows my company to have time and expense management, invoicing, and financials within one system. This allows for easier reporting.

I like the integrated tools. It makes financial management a breeze. Before Unanet, it would take me 5 hours to create an invoice, not it takes less than 5 minutes. The ability to calculate our indirect rates is also amazing and a huge timesaver.

It does not currently integrate with smartsheets. We use Smartsheets to manage our projects and Unanet for financial management and currently, we have to manually take data from Unanet and manually import it into Smartsheets. I would like there to be a tool that works to assist with transferring the data.

Integrated financial data - It is nice to have the financial management for the corporation and the projects in one place.

Indirect Rates - When set up correctly, the system will calculate the indirect rates on either budgets or actuals. This is a great benefit and it saves me a lot of time.

Accurate time and expense reporting - The timesheets and expense reports, in conjunction with the assignments, help us to manage the reporting and allocation of time and expenses to the projects.
